The hunt for the next James Bond continues, and according to PageSix.com, we’re down to SIX candidates.  They are: 1.  Jack Barton, from “Poor Things” and Netflix’s “Heartstopper”.  2.  Jacob Elordi, from “Frankenstein”, “Saltburn”, and “Euphoria”. 3.  Paul Mescal, from “Gladiator 2”, “Hamnet”, and the upcoming George Harrison biopic.  (He’ll be playing Paul McCartney, not George.) 4.  Callum Turner, from “Eternity” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. 5.  Jack Lowden, from “Slow Horses”, “Dunkirk”, and the upcoming “Pride and Prejudice” TV series. 6.  Harris Dickinson, from “Babygirl”, “Triangle of Sadness”, and “The Iron Claw”. Barton is said to be the frontrunner, even though he’s probably the least well-known. Then again, four of the previous Bonds were relative unknowns when they were cast:  Timothy Dalton, Daniel Craig, George Lazenby, and even Sean Connery. Two of the candidates are NOT British.  Jacob Elordi is Australian and Paul Mescal is Irish. Not that it matters.  Two former Bonds weren’t Brits, either.  Lazenby is Australian and Pierce Brosnan is Irish.

First Dolly, now this:  Tim Curry died on Tuesday, after years of declining health due to a 2012 stroke.  He was 80 years old. Curry was best known as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in 1975’s “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” . . . a role he originated when it began its life as a London stage production called “The Rocky Horror Show”.

Dolly Parton Fans Panic Buying Her Kardashian Jeans:  The NY Post says Dolly Parton’s fans are panic-buying her Kardashian jeans. Hours after her death, fans rushed to buy the jeans Parton created with Khloe Kardashian for Good American.  Macy’s has sold out and searches on Google have jumped by 5,000%. The denim line includes Bell bottoms, straight leg jeans and denim corsets. The jeans cost between $158 and $194 per pair.

Riley Green released the title track of his upcoming album, “That’s Just Me”, which is out September 18th.  It’s a sad one about a lost love and he wonders if she ever thinks about him, like he thinks about her. In a recent interview with “American Songwriter“, Riley said there’s a lot of truth to the songs on the album.  Quote, “If it’s not about something that actually happened to me, it’s about something that’s happened in my life. “I think that fans of country music always want to believe a lyric’s true, so I try to make it as real as I can.” (You can hear the song here.)

Tennessee State rep Todd Warner says he’ll introduce legislation to rename Nashville International Airport to Dolly Parton International Airport.  You can also sign a petition at Change.org.

Ryan Gosling might go from playing Ken in “Barbie” to playing Bamm-Bamm from “The Flintstones”. Ryan is PRODUCING a live-action movie about a grown-up Bamm-Bamm . . . but for the record, there’s been no word yet that he’s even considering starring in it.  (Still, you’d go see that, wouldn’t you?) Bamm-Bamm is, of course, the son of Barney and Betty Rubble . . . best friends of Fred and Wilma Flintstone. There WAS an animated series in the early ’70s about a teenage Bamm-Bamm and his girlfriend Pebbles . . . daughter of Fred and Wilma.  They even had a band, as most cartoon characters did back in the day. It was called “The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show”, and it ran from 1971 to 1972.

Glen Powell revealed the names of a few country stars who will make an appearance in the upcoming country music movie, “The Comeback King”.  It’ll star Jelly Roll, Miranda Lambert, and Brad Paisley. He let it slip while on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” where Jelly was the guest host.  Jelly, by the way, has been making headlines for getting political and talking about President Trump in his monologue.

Dolly Revised Will Before Death: Naughty But Nice says Dolly Parton allegedly revised her will after her husband Carl Dean died. Most of her fortune will go to charity. The couple had no children. A source says, “Dolly was incredibly generous, but she was also a brilliant businesswoman. There was absolutely no way she was leaving behind a messy estate. Everything was planned, protected and spelled out exactly the way she wanted.”

Holler Country says Ella Langley paid tribute to Dolly Parton yesterday with the following post; “Dolly, thank you for standing up for yourself as an artist, a songwriter, a musician, a producer, an author, a creative, and most importantly a woman in this industry. You paved the way for so many to be brave. Thank you for being unafraid to show your most authentic self. The world needed Dolly and will never see another like it. The gates of heaven just welcomed home a beautiful soul”.

The Daily Jang says Nicole Kidman honored the late Dolly Parton by posting a picture of her and Keith Urban with Dolly. Kidman shared the snap on Instagram. The caption beside the image read, “We will always love you, Dolly.”

Busy Philipps had two surgeries to have a brain tumor removed.

Bailey Zimmerman tells WRN that “Chevy Silverado” is a true story. “The reason I wanted to write a song called ‘Chevy Silverado’ is because when I was 16, I bought my grandpa’s 2005 white crew cab short bed Chevy Silverado, and I went everywhere in that truck. I grew up in that truck. I got my heart broke for the first time. I fell in love for the first time in that truck. I lived my life in that truck, and I think that’s why it’s so special to me, and also because my grandpa’s not with us anymore, and he was one of my best friends, so, ‘Chevy Silverado’ means everything to me.”

Stella Lefty tells The Line of Best Fit that she went to college to study public health. “I was really passionate about public health and medicine, and so that was my focus until my junior/senior year when I realized you could be a songwriter. I didn’t know that Tim McGraw, all of his songs were songs that amazing songwriters in Nashville had written. When I figured out what a songwriter was my junior year, I became set on being a songwriter. I wanted to write for other people.”

Megan Moroney tells People magazine that she believes her tour has changed lives. ““I think it’s more than a concert, and that’s what I’ve realized on this tour. I think, genuinely, the show has helped people, which is not something I ever imagined would be possible as an artist. You think, ‘Oh, I’m just here to entertain.’ But when I meet my fans and read messages and stuff, the show has changed some of their lives. So it’s really impactful, and it’s just made me feel very grateful for all of the good things that have come with the tour.”

Zack John King tells Muscle & Fitness magazine that cold plunges are part of his fitness routine. “I like cold plunges and stuff, I like it. It’s a perfect thing to feel good, but it doesn’t calm me down.”

The NY Post says Tom Brady’s Palo Alto, California card shop was recently ransacked a little over one week after its grand opening.  Police say thieves smashed a window and display cases and took 60 trading cards worth $12,000.  Brady attended the grand opening on August 15th.  The looters are still on the loose.

Collider magazine says the James Bond auditions have been narrowed to six actors. The six are Jack Barton, Jack Lowden, Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, Paul Mescal, and Harris Dickinson. Screen testing is expected to begin in early September. The final call will rest with director Denis Villeneuve and the producers

RadarOnline says Meghan Markle recently sparked backlash after unveiling her latest As Ever product just hours after Dolly Parton’s death. Meghan announced a new Spiced Apple Butter four hours after Parton died. Critics questioned why she launched it so soon after Parton’s death.  On Reddit, some called Markle “an idiot” and said the move was tone-deaf.   One Reddit user posted; “Dolly died, and MM thought she could bring the news back to her,” showing the backlash.
