WWII Veteran Gets Class Ring Back After 80 Years & Little Girl’s Guac Meltdown Leads to Big Qdoba Surprise

101-year-old Robert Ryan, a WWII veteran from Alton, Illinois, received a surprise at his former high school.  After trading his original class ring for sardines in a POW camp, Ryan was presented with a new one, symbolizing sacrifice and character.  Lt. Gen. Jered Helwig honored Ryan, highlighting his strength and bravery during the war. The touching event reminded students that true value lies in sacrifice and remembrance.

A five-year-old in Denver named Astoria Massa went viral this month after Qdoba forgot her side of guacamole and she was devastated.  The company brought her back in, had a chef teach her how to make it, gave her a bunch of free swag, and named her their “Chief Guacamole Officer.”
