The first official trailer for Netflix’s competition series “Wonka’s The Golden Ticket” is here, and there’s an OG Oompa Loompa.  His name is Rusty Goffe and he was in “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” in 1971.  You can see him back in costume, with a new crew of Oompa Loompas. The clip uses Gene Wilder’s voice recreated by A.I. and gives a peek at the contestants on recreated sets from the movie.  There’s even a challenge with the lickable wallpaper.  The nine-episode series premieres September 23rd. Radar Online says Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus have allegedly discussed a double wedding with Elizabeth Hurley and Maxx Morando. They have come a long way after a rift and are open to a combined celebration.  An insider says, “He’s hit on the idea of combining the two happy occasions, and Miley’s pals say she’s not opposed to the idea. As nutty as it sounds, she would genuinely consider doing a double wedding with them. Miley really likes Liz, she sees what a great influence she’s been on Billy Ray and she would 100 percent support them getting married. Miley is so happy to have her dad back in her life, they’ve been through a lot, and she’s very proud that they’ve been able to work through so much of it. She loves seeing his face light up when he talks about them having a double wedding. Miley and Liz get along very well, which has Billy Ray hoping that could encourage the whole family to come together.”

Garth Brooks announced a new stop on his arena tour:  Orlando, Florida.  He’ll perform at the Kia Center on September 25th and 26th.  Tickets go on sale Wednesday.  He’s still pricing every ticket at $154.50.

How did germaphobes handle COVID?  In Howie Mandel’s case, not too well.  In fact, his fear of infection nearly KILLED him. On Hoda Kotb’s podcast, Howie admitted that he self-medicated to the point that he almost died. Quote, “I live like I’m in a pandemic anyhow.  When there’s a real one, it was hard for me to handle . . . I wasn’t strong enough to handle it.” Howie started taking gummies to go to sleep . . . then that led to smoking and drinking on top of the gummies.  It got to the point where he was trying to escape by making himself unconscious. He added, quote, “There were times when my wife, she couldn’t wake me up or she thought she was going to take me to the hospital . . . it was really bad.” Luckily, Howie is sober now . . . not counting the prescription meds he takes for his OCD and other conditions. He also credits his wife Terry with forcing him to get help back in the day, because his issues became too overwhelming to deal with. Quote, “The ultimatum was, try to find some help, because I can’t do this anymore.  She’s a hero because she put up with it and sent me to therapy.”

Rupert Grint is returning to his “Harry Potter” roots, but not in the movies . . . and not on HBO’s upcoming “Potter” series. He’ll play Ron Weasley once again, but the ADULT version, in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” on Broadway. He’s doing a 17-week run, starting February 2nd. Rupert says, quote, “Ron Weasley has been a part of me since I was 11 years old and I can’t wait to meet him again in this stage of life. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” takes place 19 years after the last book (slash) movie. Tom Felton is currently playing the grown-up Draco Malfoy in the show, but his run ends January 3rd, so they won’t overlap.

The NY Post says Tom Brady’s Palo Alto, California card shop was recently ransacked a little over one week after its grand opening.  Police say thieves smashed a window and display cases and took 60 trading cards worth $12,000.  Brady attended the grand opening on August 15th.  The looters are still on the loose.

MotorBiscuit says Robert Downey Jr. is getting a $2 million RV for the set of ‘’Avengers: Doomsday’’.  It will be his luxury office. He has private chefs, a buffet, and a Downey-themed art tent. The 41-foot RV has a sofa, workstation, 60-inch television, kitchenette, queen bed, a bathroom and an 85-gallon freshwater tank. Downey’s co-stars have nicknamed his area on the set Downey Land.

But Nicole is not ready to say it’s anything serious or completely allow herself to fall for him. TMZ says Alec Baldwin’s Amagansett, New York estate recently hit the market for $19 million. The 8,556-square-foot home sits on an 8.3-acre lot with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Built in 1740, the house is minutes from the beaches. The price was trimmed by $2 million from the last asking price.  Amenities include A chef’s kitchen, a private study, a media room, a wet bar, a pool and a spa

The Daily Mail says Jennifer Aniston recently brought her boyfriend Jim Curtis to a Friends reunion dinner in West Hollywood.  The group included Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. A source says, ‘Jim fits right in with the crowd, they think he is a cool guy, which is very relaxing for Jen. She doesn’t have to sell Jim, everyone is sold on him! Dinner parties, movie nights, premieres, they are easy breezy for Jen when Jim is by her side because he is so likable.’
