The original voice of Snow White was Adriana Caselotti.  She was not credited for the role, because Disney had a rule at that time where voice actors weren’t credited in animated movies to “preserve the magic.” She was only paid $970 for the movie, which is about $22,000 today.  And she didn’t have any notable roles afterward . . . mostly because Disney was blocking her from doing anything, so audiences wouldn’t recognize her voice.

Saddam Hussein used Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” as his campaign re-election song in 2002.  And I guess it was REALLY effective, because he won with 100% of the vote.
