When the Beatles Made Matt Damon Pick Up the Phone…

If you made it through Peter Jackson’s nearly eight-hour Beatles documentary series, “Get Back” . . . did it leave you feeling sentimental? Spoiler alert: It ends with a title card that says how the guys never worked together again.  And when Matt Damon saw it back in 2021, it left him in tears, and inspired him to keep making movies with his BFF Ben Affleck. They’ve made three movies together in four years . . . “The Last Duel”, “Air”, and their upcoming action thriller, “The Rip”, which hits Netflix in January.

The nominations for the CMAs were just announced . . . which means now comes the fallout. Here are what people are talking about the most:  1.  People are “outraged” Kelsea Ballerini wasn’t nominated for Entertainer of the Year.  2.  Are you familiar with Stephen Wilson Jr.?  He was nominated for New Artist of the Year.  He’s 46 years old.  3.  People are saying Post Malone was snubbed because he wasn’t nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year.  4.  And Jelly Roll was shut out of all the major categories.  What’s up with that?  The 59th Annual CMA Awards take place November 19th on ABC.

Liquid Death sold 11-packs of its canned water in honor of Spinal Tap.  The cases were even autographed by the band.  There were 11 of them, priced at $1,100 each . . . and they sold out immediately. The “eleven” thing is a reference to the “These go to 11” scene from “This Is Spinal Tap”.”Spinal Tap 2: The End Continues” hits theaters on Friday.

BroBible says Bill Belichick and his 24 year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson recently received a rejection letter for multiple trademark applications for phrases like “Ignore the Noise”, “No Days Off” and “Do Your Job”. The applications were flagged because of confusion with trademarks the Patriots already hold. 

People magazine says Adam Sandler recently brought ’90s nostalgia to his Florida comedy tour when he brought Vanilla Ice on stage to rap “Ice Ice Baby”. Kevin James also joined in.

Morgan Wallen tells Billboard magazine that fame has changed his life. “Everything has gotten so, so huge. I don’t really go to the grocery store, I have to go through back doors to go to the doctor and all of that kind of stuff. I still try to hold on to as much normalcy as possible. I like driving, so I try to drive as much as I can by myself.”

The National Enquirer says Tom Cruise is allegedly eager to star in a steamy movie with Ana de Armas. A source reveals, “Tom is absolutely fixated on working with Ana in a project that pushes the boundaries. Tom feels like the timing couldn’t be better because she’s riding high on all the praise for her latest role and he wants to capitalize on that momentum. He’s encouraging Ana to embrace that side of her. He’s telling Ana that audiences are hungry for something provocative but smart, and that they can give it to them and reap the rewards. Tom doesn’t want to do anything trashy — he wants to make art with her.”

Luke Combs was doing a recent interview with Music Mayhem magazine when he said he wants his children to enjoy the simple experiences he cherishes. “I want my sons to have as normal of a life as they deserve to have, to ride bikes, to have privacy, to go fishing.”

Bailey Zimmerman tells People magazine that he isn’t a party animal on tour. “We don’t really party… We work out all the time. We’re eating healthy. We’ll have a couple tequilas, but you won’t catch us at the bar anymore.”

The Sun says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding might be documented by Netflix.  The streaming service is aiming for exclusive access to the event. A source reveals, “Netflix has reached out to unscripted production companies following Taylor’s engagement. The streaming giant has told them that there is a substantial budget for a Taylor and Travis documentary. The wedding will be a huge moment and Netflix wants to be at the forefront of that. It is also planning a bid for exclusive access to the wedding.”

People magazine claims Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding will be a private affair, with a close circle of friends in attendance. A source says, “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy. She’s incredibly happy. It’s all just perfect.”

Jelly Roll was doing an interview for a recent edition of People magazine when he said he takes pride in showcasing the power of second chances. “Showcasing that second chances are possible? There is nothing I am prouder of. I want to show people that it’s never too late to get your life in order.”

The Globe claims Will Smith is allegedly hesitant to end his marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith because they have been getting along better and living together again. A source shares, “Jada recently moved back into the main property in Calabasas, even though she’s kept hold of her other base in Hidden Hills, a few miles away. They’re taking things day by day, but they’re getting along a whole lot better, which the kids are so happy to see. For all their troubles, Will and Jada are both in agreement that they’re stronger together, and neither of them has any interest in being serious with anyone else. Everyone knows they’ve both had plenty of other flirtations down the years but ultimately they’re still bound by family as well as business.”

Thomas Rhett was recently doing an interview with CountryNow.com when he said he’s embraced yard work and household chores. “I love yard work and I love cleaning period, and I used to hate it. I love getting to wash me and Lauren’s cars. And when trees fall down in our yard there’s nothing I love better than going to Home Depot and buying some gas and some oil and puttin’ it in a chainsaw and just going to town.”

The Daily Star says Alec Baldwin allegedly feels overwhelmed as his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, competes on ‘’Dancing with the Stars.’’ He has been left in New York with their seven kids while she dances in Los Angeles. A source says, “Alec’s tearing his hair out at the prospect of being in charge of the kids. The fact that he’ll be up to his eyeballs in daddy duty freaks him out.”

Jordan Davis tells People magazine that he’s in what he describes as the “bluebird days” of his life. “I’m a big duck hunter. So, a bluebird day in the duck world is one with a cold north wind and sunshine at nine o’clock in the sky. You’d always pray for bluebird days whenever you were duck hunting. I feel like I’m in the bluebird days of life right now. Everything just feels really good.”

RadarOnline.com says Lionel Richie allegedly feels excluded because Luke Bryan has been praising fellow American Idol judge Carrie Underwood. A source says, “What really burns Lionel is the way Luke goes on about Carrie and how he’s been to her farm and gets along with her husband. Ironically, it was Luke and Lionel who were tight on American Idol. For years, they were pals, they hung out and commiserated about stuff, and they used to whisper and make fun of Carrie when she first came on the show, which wasn’t nice. Now, Carrie has swooped in and made Luke part of her social circle both on and off the set. They boast that they have so much in common, too.”
