Weather- You’re not allowed to try to modify the weather in Colorado without a permit.  The main reason is to keep ski resorts from doing strange things to try to make it snow.

Washington- Washington state was originally going to be named “Columbia,” but some people were worried that it would be confused with the “District of Columbia,” so the name was changed to “Washington.”  Which, can still be confused with Washington, D.C.

Mangos- Mangos can get sunburned . . . but it actually ruins them.  When mango crops get sunburned, they usually have to be thrown away.
