There’s a wingless wasp native to Chile known as the “panda ant.”  It looks kinda cute . . . with its black and white pattern . . . but it’s not an ant, or a panda for that matter.  It’s a wasp, with a very painful defensive sting.

Flight attendants in Brazil have required training in rainforest survival techniques . . . just in case they’re on a flight that crashes in the Amazon.

Soccer has overtaken baseball to become America’s third-favorite sport.  American football is #1 by a wide-margin . . . followed by basketball, then soccer, then baseball, the “national pastime.” Ice hockey is fifth, followed by tennis, boxing / MMA, and golf.
