Recent research from Harvard suggests that the “man flu” may indeed be a genuine illness. Researchers found men experience more flu symptoms than women. 54% of men refuse to get an annual flu shot. The average man takes five sick days when they have the flu compared to women who only take four. 80% of women say their partner exaggerates how ill they are.

An 11-year-old boy, from Changsha, China, was hospitalized after studying from 8 am to 10 pm without a break. The boy developed respiratory issues due to hyperventilation. He suffered from rapid breathing, dizziness, and numbness in his limbs.  The incident shed light on China’s intense academic pressure on students.
