The 1995 cinematic classic “Tommy Boy” turns 30 this year, and it’s getting its own celebration in Sandusky, Ohio . . . where the movie was set. Tommy Boy Fest goes down August 7th through the 9th.  Obviously, Chris Farley can’t be there, and David Spade isn’t booked, either.  In fact, no stars from the movie are scheduled to be there. But the director, Peter Segal, is . . . along with the actual car from the movie. Activities will include movie screenings, live music, a classic car show, look-alike contests, and a “Tommy Want Wingy Throwdown.” (Grab more info here.)

Huey Lewis has lost the ability to hear music because of Ménière’s disease.  He has a cochlear implant and is mildly dizzy all the time.  He’s no longer able to perform, sing, and play but he says the worst part is not being able to enjoy music. But he’s still working on the Huey Lewis and the News Broadway musical, “The Heart of Rock and Roll”.  He says the goal is to get it to London, and that it’ll tour America in 2027.

Lainey Wilson got engaged to Duck Hodges back in February. She just revealed some news about her wedding that might feel kind of shocking . . . There will be NO COUNTRY MUSIC. You heard that right.  They are going the “jazz route” . . . and hiring a jazz band or two for the big day. Classy choice.  So far, there’s no word when Lainey’s wedding will be, but she does have a big gap in her schedule in late July, early August…so maybe??

Lainey Wilson tells Parade Magazine that she is starring in a new movie called “Reminders of Him.” “After Yellowstone, after I played a musician role, I told my manager, ‘The next thing I want to do is something where I step outside of that. And this was the first opportunity that had presented itself to us and that felt great. For the very first time, I’m playing a character that’s not a musician. It’s cool for me to be able to step into other people’s shoes and write from their perspective, so this gave me an opportunity to step into a pair of shoes and act from a different point of view. It was fun. It just gave me a creative outlet and I really enjoyed it and we’ll see what else happens, but I can see myself doing more of it for sure.”

Teddy Swims has one of the best voices of any singer in the world right now.  And his biggest song, “Lose Control”, features him flexing his impressive vocal range. But that doesn’t intimidate Luke Combs. Luke posted a cover on Instagram and it definitely holds up to the original.  He even hit those high notes like a champ. So, what’s next for Luke?  Maybe a Whitney Houston cover?  Or Mariah Carey?

Sam Hunt tells CountryNow.com that breakfast has become his favorite time of day with his family. “I think breakfast is my favorite time of day. The Daily Express says Kelly Clarkson isn’t fixated on finding a boyfriend after her divorce. A source reveals,  “Kelly is not obsessing about finding a boyfriend, she has an extremely full plate so it’s not as though she’s sitting around by herself moping about being single. That being said, she does admit that she’d love to meet someone special, it’s just a question of how to make it happen. Entertainment Now says Adam Levine is allegedly unlikely to return to “The Voice.” A source says,  “Adam didn’t realize how much his experience was made by having Blake on set with him until this season when he had to film without him. He didn’t enjoy this season as much as he anticipated, but he definitely feels Blake’s void and misses him. That’s not to say he doesn’t like the other coaches this season, he does. But he didn’t have as much fun as he did in the past with his buddy Blake.”
