Like I I just got here, you know, and to be recognized so quickly as like almost unbelievable. Luke Combs Talks About Performing His Song, ‘Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma’, At The CMA Awards … “I’m performing “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma”, which is a song I wrote for the twisters movie. I got a call. I don’t know, but, you know, obviously before the movie came out and, they wanted to do an original soundtrack, and, they wanted me to write something uptempo and fun and fast, and that’s what we did and it turned out to be, really great. You know, I didn’t know really what to expect. I don’t have too much experience doing stuff like that, but it was a lot of fun. The performance is really high energy, a lot of cool lights and fire and stuff we’ve never done. We’ve never done that stuff ever before. So, I think it makes it a little bit cooler for us to, you know, as people who don’t. Who. Yeah, me and my band, we really shy away from that stuff. We like to let the music speak for itself, but I think the song is the perfect time to to dip your toe into that. So we’re excited about. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.”

Thomas Rhett Talks About Performing With Teddy Swims At The CMA Awards … “It’s gonna be amazing. You know, Teddy grew up, honestly, a lot like Post Malone, who listened to country music his whole life, but maybe chose a different lane. Teddy knows as many country songs as there is out there. That dude honestly lives and breathes country music. And so, I think it’s been a dream of his for a while to play on the CMAs and maybe make a country EP or something like that, and the dude can do it. It’s kinda like how everybody says Chris Stapleton can sing the phone book and I’d buy it. Teddy is the same way to me. And so, I was honestly thrilled and shocked that the CMAs were like, ‘Okay we’re gonna let you play a song that no one knows on the biggest night in country music.’ And so, I feel very grateful to do that and very blessed, and now it’s up to me and him to go knock it out of the park.”
