Rascal Flatts announced a reunion tour to celebrate 25 years together. The Life is a Highway Tour will run from February to April of next year . . . Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will open.

Congratulations may be in order for Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara.  They might be married. The couple became engaged in 2019, and in February, they announced that they’re expecting baby #2. I’m currently watching the 2019 Joker, and wow…he just does an amazing job…

94-year-old Clint Eastwood is still making movies.  Here’s the trailer for his latest, “Juror No. 2”. One of my favorites, Toni Collette,  will also star in the drama that hits select theaters next month.

BroBible says Taylor Swift did not attend the last two Kansas City Chiefs’ games due to security concerns. Plans for ISIS attacks in Vienna may have also influenced her decision to stay home. A source says,  “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.”

In Touch Weekly says Tom Cruise is looking tired and drained from years of doing his own stunts. An insider says, “He’s still in good shape, but all that hard work is starting to show. He looks drained and tired. While there are plenty of stuntmen who could step in, Tom refuses to let them. Family, friends and colleagues are telling him to hang it up, that there’s nothing to prove. But Tom says part of the fun of filmmaking for him is doing his own stunts and he’s not giving that up.”

Radar Online says Jessica Simpson’s relationship with Eric Johnson is allegedly in turmoil due to her unusual behavior and time apart. A source says, “He’s also frustrated with what insiders describe her as whacky, spaced-out demeanor and reclusive habits – since returning from Nashville, she spends days on end without leaving the house. Nobody knows what Jessica’s doing all day. It’s never been worse. Jessica has not been wearing her ring and has not posted online with Eric in a year.”

Morgan Wallen just donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross to help support parts of Eastern Tennessee that were devastated by Hurricane Helene.  Oliver Anthony also said he’s working on a fundraiser and doing some charity shows to help out. (You can watch that video, here.)

John Amos passed away August 21st, although his death was just announced yesterday.  He was 84. Amos was best known as James Evans, the dad on the ’70s sitcom “Good Times”.  He also played the older Kunta Kinte on the miniseries “Roots”, and Cleo McDowell in “Coming to America” and its 2021 sequel. On Monday, we also lost Ken Page, a Broadway actor best known as the voice of the villain Oogie Boogie in “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.  His rep says he died peacefully at his home in St. Louis.  He was 70 years old. (Frank Fritz from “American Pickers” also died Monday.  He was only 60.  He died of complications from a stroke he suffered a few years ago.)

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn’s twin daughters are 15 years old now.  Here they are with Jerry, dressed for homecoming.
