The Grammy nominations are out. Beyoncé and Shaboozey lead the Country nominees, and Morgan Wallen finally got his first . . . and second nomination. He’s up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and for Best Country Song with “I Had Some Help” with Post Malone.
Beyoncé has officially ascended to her throne as Queen of the Grammys… she got 11 nominations. . . making her the most-nominated artist of all time, with 99 total. She also has the most wins, at 32. “Cowboy Carter” album is all over the Country categories. Former president Jimmy Carter became the oldest nominee ever. He’s 100. The Grammys air live on February 2nd on CBS.
The Mountaineer says Frankie Muniz was injured in a NASCAR crash at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona. Muniz managed to walk away from the collision. He described the incident as “unfortunate” and expressed optimism for future races. Witnesses saw Muniz limping to the ambulance after the crash.
Dave Grohl isn’t the only one who doesn’t think Taylor Swift sings live. A British singer named Fil Henley analyzed the audio from several shows on the Eras Tour, and he’s convinced of it, too. He claims they’re all the same pre-recorded track. They’re also heavily pitch-corrected. One last note: When Grohl suggested over the summer that Taylor’s show wasn’t live, her response at her next concert was this: “My band, who’s gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight, they deserve this so much. And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.” Nowhere in this statement did Taylor say she sings live.
HELLO! Magazine says Leonardo DiCaprio recently celebrated his 50th birthday with a star-studded bash in Los Angeles. The guest list included Hollywood royalty like Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Tobey Maguire, Paris Hilton, Dr Dre, Jamie Foxx, Steven Spielberg, and Stevie Wonder, who serenaded Leo. Other guests included Kate Winslet, Katy Perry, and Mark Ruffalo
Nick and Vanessa Lachey have celebrated their mutual birthday together for 19 years now.
