Elton John and Madonna have had what seems like a one-sided feud for over 20 years, with Elton trashing her publicly . . . seemingly for no reason.  But this past weekend they buried the hatchet. Madonna went to watch him on “Saturday Night Live”, and she confronted him after the show. Forgiveness is a powerful tool.  Within minutes.  They were hugging. (You can see Madonna’s post here.) 

There’s a thing happening at screenings of “A Minecraft Movie”, where people freak out during the “Chicken Jockey” scene and throw their food and drinks.  Someone even posted a video of cops escorting patrons out of a theater for doing it.

Over 47,000 people signed a petition to rename the Nashville International Airport . . . and call it the Dolly Parton International Airport.  “Departin’ from Parton” has a pretty good ring to it. The petition highlights Parton’s impact on society through her music and philanthropic efforts. A fitting tribute to Tennessee’s queen. (You can check out the petition, here.)

When it comes to Ryan Reynolds, you have to respect the hustle.  He probably makes enough money off his movies to be comfortable for the rest of his life.  But he never stops grinding. He’s sold us gin, he’s sold us wireless access . . . he’s even sold us SOCCER . . . which isn’t easy in here in the States.  And now, he’s selling WINE. It comes in what look like oversized juice boxes that contain 33% more wine than a typical bottle but, quote, “100% less snob.” (Check it out here.)

Cole Swindell tells CountryNow.com that a lot of the inspiration for his songs comes from his wife. “I can’t look at her and not get inspired. There’s something about the way she looks, her eyes and her smile, that get the song ideas flowing.”

Dylan Scott tells People magazine that he can be very superstitious. “I do count my steps and other random things, it can be anything. So like my coffee, I put coffee creamer in it, I count every time to 5. I find myself going 1-2-3-4-5. I don’t know why.”

Page Six says Meghan Markle’s company, As Ever, had to apologize and issue refunds for its sold-out honey. Unlucky customers who bought the honey were promised a refund and a gift in the mail. Markle personally apologized for the mishap and promised more products to come. 

Joe Exotic tells RadarOnline.com that his cancer is in remission. “My prostate cancer is out of remission and the cancer in my left lung is just there. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is broke and cannot afford chemo treatments anyway so I am just going to let it hold until I get out and get medical help.”

Original Beatles drummer Pete Best is retiring.  Yes, he’s apparently been performing all these years.  His brother says he’s stepping back due to, quote, “personal circumstances.” FYI, Pete and his family still run the Casbah Coffee Club, which is an early venue that the Beatles called home.  It was opened by Pete’s mother in 1959. There are four rooms you can rent out on Airbnb:  The Lennon Suite, the McCartney Suite, the Harrison Suite and the BEST Suite.  There is NOT a Ringo Suite.

Nerdist says Val Kilmer wanted to compete on ‘’The Amazing Race’’ with Will Forte. Forte penned a heartfelt tribute to Kilmer, showcasing their close bond from working together on ‘’MacGruber.’’ The duo’s plan to join the reality show was thwarted by their representatives, leaving Forte regretful about missing the chance to embark on the adventure with Kilmer. 

Tom Cruise was at CinemaCon in Las Vegas to present footage from “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.  But before he got started, he took a moment to pay tribute to Val Kilmer. Quote, “I can’t tell you how much I admired his work and him as a human being, how grateful and honored I was that he joined ‘Top Gun’ and came back for ‘Top Gun: Maverick’.  Then they took a moment of silence.
