Happy April Fools’ Day!  To celebrate, I rounded up some of the best country music pranks that have happened over the years. My favorite:    Brooks & Dunn once left a HEADLESS EEL in Faith Hill’s tour bus bed.  But she got them back, by getting them detained by immigration officials at the U.S. border and strip searched. Kix Brooks famously joked, “Don’t put that rubber glove on if you aren’t going to use it.” Darius Rucker‘s concert setlist usually includes a rousing rendition of a classic country favorite: Hank Williams Jr.‘s “Family Tradition.” But when he performed the song in Columbus, Ga., in early 2010, Rucker’s backup band got a little bigger, as a family of goats paraded the stage’s catwalk, while a guy dressed as a huge bird danced behind the singer. The masterminds of this elaborate prank? Rascal Flatts, who are notorious for humorously hazing their opening acts. Poor Rucker fell victim again later on when Paisley’s crew put stinky cheese all over his microphone … twice. (You can check out more country music pranks, here.)

If you’re a fan of “The Last of Us” video games, then you pretty much already know how the HBO series is going to end. Season 2 of premieres in less than two weeks.  And one of the creators says the show will NOT go past the video games.  But he doesn’t know if it’ll take one or two more seasons to finish the story.

Dave Coulier is cancer-free.  He completed chemotherapy treatments in February after being diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2024.

The supposed script for “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” has leaked online.

No, Hailey Bieber didn’t unfollow Justin on Instagram.

RadarOnline.com says Jessica Simpson is allegedly dating Jeremy Renner following her divorce. A source says, “There has always been a very strong connection between the two of them and now Jessica is single, she is free to date anyone she wishes. She and Jeremy have met up a few times and are taking things slowly. The social media interaction is her way of giving the relationship a soft launch.”

The internet is still talking about why Morgan Wallen left the stage at the end of the most recent “SNL” episode.  Was it an honest mistake, or was he mad?  The internet thinks he stormed off the stage because Lorne Michaels snubbed him.  But Kenan Thompson told “Entertainment Weekly” he’s not sure what happened.  Either way, sources at NBC said Morgan IS welcome back.

Ella Langley recently had a day off in Banff, Canada and took a bikini picture in the snow that the internet is drooling over.  Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, commented on the pic, saying, “I had no idea Ella was caked up like dis.” (You can check out Ella’s pictures in the snow, here.)

Bodycam footage exists of police finding the bodies of Gene Hackman and his wife Besty back in February.  Pictures were also taken.  And there are people who want all that material released. Remember, Betsy was “only” 65.  Yoshie is her mother.  She’s 91 years old, and she’d like to keep pictures and video of the bodies under wraps so she can grieve in peace. In legal documents, she said she has, quote, “a constitutional right to avoid seeing images of my daughter’s home, her dead body, her husband’s dead body, and their dog’s corpse.” A New Mexico judge ruled yesterday that photos and video from the scene CAN be released, but any images of Gene and Betsy CAN’T. They have to be either blurred or edited out.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson tells TotalProSports that he was grateful to land safely after his private jet had a major malfunction over the Pacific Ocean. “Last night, we had some issues with the plane. About 35-40 minutes into the flight, the pilot comes back to me, he gets down on one knee, and he faces me, face-to-face, and it’s just me on the plane, just me and the crew. He says, ‘Mr. Johnson, I’m sorry to inform you, but we cannot continue to fly over the ocean, we have a problem, we have to turn the plane around and we have to land back in Hawaii. You have my word, I will land you back safely on the island.’ He explained to me what happened, he said it was a hydraulics issue with overheating, and he said there were some issues we could work out as we’re in the air, and then there’s some that we’re not gonna take a chance, especially over the ocean, and especially when the computer on the airplane is saying, ‘Don’t fly over the ocean anymore, you’ve gotta get back to land. I so appreciate the crew, I appreciate them getting us back to land safely, I appreciate God, the universe. I took this as a sign from God and the universe.’’
