Companies continue to spoil THEIR OWN surprise by releasing their Super Bowl ads ahead of time. Here’s the latest batch . . . which you should avoid if you’d rather see them for the first time on Sunday: Coors Light decided to forego celebrities in favor of SLOTHS. Just ask Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ludacris.New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft produced a powerful ad through his Foundation to Combat Antisemitism. It stars Snoop Dogg and Tom Brady. Post Malone tells Rolling Stone magazine that he never plans out his outfits. “I don’t plan out what I’m wearing every single day. Somedays I might wear skinny pants. The next day I might wear thrift shop pants. It depends on how I’m feeling.”
LoCash star Chris Lucas tells SongwriterUniverse.com that they treat their partnership like a marriage. “We live together on the road so over the years we’ve learned how to respect each other and make compromises too, just like you have to do in any relationship. You learn to accept each other’s good and bad points. We have a bus full of boys out there with us on the road and we learn how to stay out of each other’s way sometimes but the fun and friendship and the brotherhood is what bonds you together.”
Geo TV says Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, could face jail time for wearing a controversial see-through outfit at the Grammy Awards. California Penal Code 314(1) outlines indecent exposure laws, which require intent to offend or sexually gratify. First-time charges carry penalties of up to six months in jail or a $988 fine. The Daily Mail says calls are being made to ban Kanye West and Bianca Censori from all red carpets after their nude stunt at the Grammys. The shocking red carpet moment cost Kanye a $20 million deal in Japan.
One of the biggest stories coming out of the Grammys had nothing to do with the ceremony itself. It was the fact that Jaden Smith showed up with a castle on his head. Well, that castle may have looked like your kid’s 7th grade art project, but it was actually a piece of “wearable art” from a legit design house called ABODI. And you can own one too, for about 4,600 U.S. dollars. Yeah, you heard me: $4,600. For a castle you wear on your head. But at least for that price, they custom make it to YOUR measurements.
TMSPN says Travis Kelce has ramped up security at his Kansas City mansion with a $49,000 investment in alarms, guards and dogs. He had $120,000 worth of valuables stolen from him last year. Kelce, concerned for the safety of himself and his girlfriend Taylor Swift, is taking measures ahead of the Super Bowl. The FBI is investigating a suspected crime ring targeting NFL players, including Kelce and his teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Will Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” be another DOUBLE album? He shared a photo of a whiteboard where he’s been working out the song order. It looks like it’ll have at least 30 songs. Another dozen or so didn’t have slots yet. It’s not clear if those are making the cut. But if they do, it could have over 40 songs on it . . . enough to call it a triple album if he wants. (Some argued “One Thing at a Time” could have been marketed as a triple album, too.) (Here’s the photo.)
