Tinsel Town Talk – Tue 01/28/2025
This year marks the 36th anniversary of “When Harry Met Sally”. Not really one of those milestone anniversaries, but it looks like SOMETHING is happening. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are reuniting for “something iconic,” but there’s no word yet what it is. FYI, this was Billy’s first Instagram post EVER. Do you think it could be a Super Bowl commercial?
Blake Shelton struck gold last summer when he decided to pair up with Post Malone on “Pour Me a Drink”. And the two of them have become close since. Or at the very least, good drinking buddies. But Blake says when it comes to partying, Posty puts him to shame. He said “I used to think I could go pretty hard, back in the day. Nobody I’ve ever met has anything on Post Malone. I mean, he is living a stereotypical country music song every day of his life.” And I gotta believe what Blake’s saying is true. Have you ever seen Posty on stage WITHOUT a Bud Light and a cigarette? Because I haven’t either. (You can listen to Blake talk about Posty, here.)
George Strait is a living legend, and at 72, he’s partied hard a time or two in his life. But when that happens, the King of Country has a go-to hangover cure that has worked for him for decades, it’s a little unorthodox. It’s a bowl of menudo. If you’re not familiar, menudo is a traditional Mexican soup that features TRIPE, which is the stomach lining of a cow.
This is just the sweetest story ever….Bailey Zimmerman told Music Mayhem magazine that he hopes to meet his soulmate one day. “I know she’s out there. That’s one of the benefits of traveling all over the world. There’s more of a chance to find her. She may be in one of the cities I’m visiting, she could be in my hometown. All I know is that I will find her one day.”
Check out the trailer for “David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived” . . . a documentary about Daniel Radcliffe’s “Harry Potter” stunt double. He’s permanently paralyzed due to an accident on the second-to-last movie.
Tyler Hubbard’s talents go beyond his musical ability. Russell Dickerson tells People magazine that his dream home was envisioned by Tyler Hubbard. “It’s so crazy to think now that we’re friends and we live in the house he designed! He literally sat down with an architect, drew it out, and then built it – everything he liked about houses or everything he thought a house should be … Everything, to the last nail.”
