Carrie Underwood will perform “America the Beautiful” at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday. Quote, “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.” There will also be performances from Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio. The Village People will perform at Trump’s inaugural balls and a rally the day before. The band says, quote, “We know this won’t make some of you happy to hear however we believe that music is to be performed without regard to politics. Kid Rock will also be playing at a rally on Sunday.
The Grammys are still on for February 2nd from L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena. The show will help raise money for the relief effort.
Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcomed a baby girl on Sunday. Her name is Golden Raye. This is their 3rd child: daughter, Sterling, son, Bronze, and daughter Golden…Bronze’s actual name is Patrick Mahomes like his daddy.
Thomas Rhett can Die a Happy Man because his lifelong dream is about to come true, to headline at a baseball stadium . . . specifically Fenway Park in Boston. He almost did it in 2020, but the pandemic shut that down. He will be headlining a show in July at Boston’s Fenway Park. Thomas made the announcement yesterday, after posting a tease on social media . . . where he’s singing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline”.
Marvel may cast a new actor as Black Panther. Not to replace Chadwick Boseman, but because alternate versions of Black Panther are possible now that they have that multiverse thing going.
Morgan Wallen posted a photo of himself in the studio the other day with the caption, “Locked in.” Now everyone is wondering when he’s going to drop his next album. (Also, some eagle-eyed fans think they spotted the name of his next album, in his “Smile” music video. They think it’ll be called, “Dark Til Daylight“.)
