Morgan Wallen might be having the biggest year of any country music star in history.  Which is pretty wild considering he might spend some part of next year in JAIL. He just won CMA Entertainer of the Year . . . In July, he held the biggest country concert in the history of the U.K. . . . And he’s the first artist ever to have five #1s on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in the same calendar year.

NBC says “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner has an incurable form of bone marrow cancer called Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia. It played a role in his breakup with Theresa Nist. Nist, however, says Gerry’s cancer wasn’t a factor in their separation and cited distance as one of the reasons for their divorce. Gerry says, “Unfortunately, there’s no cure for it. So that weighs heavily in every decision I make. It was like 10 tons of concrete were just dropped on me. And I was a bit in denial for a while, I didn’t want to admit to it.”

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been less than awesome since they killed off Iron Man.  Which is why it was such a massive coup to get Robert Downey Jr. to play Dr. Doom in the next two “Avengers” movies. Here’s how important it was for Marvel to get him back:  They basically drove the contents of Fort Knox up his driveway and just dumped it in front of his door. Robert Downey Jr. is reportedly making “significantly more” than $80 million, and gets private jet travel, security, and a trailer encampment on the set. Downey has already made between $500 million and $600 million from the franchise, and is by far the highest-paid member of the MCU.

The NY Post says a “Yellowstone” spinoff featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser’s characters is in development. The spinoff will continue the story of Beth and Rip in the same present-day setting.

Forget Elf on a Shelf.  This year, try Snoop on the Stoop or Martha on the Mantle.  Or both . . . because as Snoop says, “They don’t work without each other.”

Here’s Taylor Swift’s first post-Eras Tour photo dump.
