Sad start to the day today.  We’ve lost one of the greats.  Legendary actor Gene Hackman has died. He was 95.  Police confirmed late last night that they found the bodies of Gene, his wife Betsy, and their dog in their Santa Fe, New Mexico home yesterday.  No foul play is suspected and no cause of death has been announced.

A TikToker put out a parody song of Ella Langley and Riley Green’s hit “You Look Like You Love Me” and it’s worth checking out.  Except she changed the lyrics to, “Excuse me, you look like you’re ugly.” (You can check out Katy’s parody song, here.)

Michelle Trachtenberg, from “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Gossip Girl”, died yesterday.  She was only 39.  There’s no word on the cause of death, but she had a liver transplant sometime in the past year. Michelle got her start on Nickelodeon’s “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” and “Harriet the Spy”, before landing the role of Buffy’s little sister Dawn on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

Martin Scorsese is looking to make a splash with a star-studded crime movie set in Hawaii and might star Leonardo DiCaprio, Emily Blunt, and . . . The Rock??? The fact-based untitled movie is said to be in the mold of Scorsese’s Goodfellas and The Departed and center on a mob boss vying for control of the Hawaiian islands in the 1960s and 1970s.

Someone should tell Conan O’Brien that the host of the Oscars isn’t required to roll out the red carpet.

Shaboozey now has the longest #1 streak for a solo artist since the Hot Country Songs chart began in 1958.  “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has now spent 35 weeks at #1. This breaks a tie with Sam Hunt’s song, “Body Like a Backroad” that was #1 for 34 weeks back in 2017. The music video for “Tipsy” has over 198 MILLION views on YouTube.  Care to give it another

Donnie Wahlberg tells People magazine that fans can now dine at the ‘’Blue Bloods’’ dining room table at the St Charles, Illinois Wahlburgers location. “This is the actual table with the actual stuff, the actual glass that I drank out of, and the chair that I sat in for 14 years of TV history.” Fans can reserve a dinner at the iconic table and make memories. Proceeds benefit charity.

Blake Shelton tells CountryNow.com that he has to be careful around his neighbors in Oklahoma. “Where I live in Oklahoma, it’s all ranchers. My friends are all cowboys and pretty rough guys. If I had a hot tub back there, I’d never hear the end of it. I’d hear them laughing at me from miles away.”

TMZ says Matthew Perry received 27 shots of ketamine before his death. A new documentary accuses individuals of supplying Perry with the anesthetic, including a doctor and an alleged drug dealer known as the “Ketamine Queen.” Perry’s passing was ruled an accidental drowning due to the acute effects of ketamine.
