A lot of Royal traditions have gone out of style in the U.K., and Kate Middleton is happy to send another one out to pasture. It’s called BLOODING.  It’s where the kids are taken hunting, and the blood of their first kill is smeared on them. Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, will NOT be participating.

Just because a movie makes money at the box office, that doesn’t mean it’s GOOD.  People are voting on Ranker.com for the WORST movies that made at least $1 billion. The winner, or loser?  The live-action “Lion King” remake has been voted the worst movie to make a billion dollars or more.  It’s followed by “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” and “Jurassic World: Dominion”.

Sharon Osbourne robbed the world of possibly witnessing a Captain Ozzy.  She says he was offered an audition for “Pirates of the Caribbean” . . . but she said no. She also said it’s the biggest mistake she’s ever made with him. Of course, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards ended up getting the role of Captain Edward Teague, the father of Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow, in both Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Another rock legend, Paul McCartney, portrayed Sparrow’s Uncle Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Eric Church and his charity, Chief Cares, are planning to build 100 homes for 100 families that were displaced by Hurricane Helene last year.  They just broke ground in Avery County, North Carolina and hope to have 40 homes move-in ready by June. So far Eric has donated all proceeds of his song, “Darkest Hour” to the recovery effort in North Carolina.  And he and Luke Combs teamed up for the Concert for Carolina, that raised over 24 million. (You can check out a news report about it, here.)

Wendy Williams may not enjoy her current assisted living situation, but she lives better than most of us.

RadarOnline.com says Beyoncé finally feels the love from the country music community after her Grammy win for “Cowboy Carter.” A source says, “It feels like just desserts for Beyoncé to win the Grammy for Cowboy Carter after the CMA fiasco. Not only does she get the recognition she deserves, it comes via a Grammy, which is certainly more prestigious than a CMA award! It really felt like a slap in the face to Bey and made her feel like she was not welcome in that community despite her longtime love for country music. As for the CMA folks, probably the most disastrous decision they ever made was to shut Beyoncé out because they saw her as an interloper. Now, Beyoncé is queen of the country ball.”

Blake Shelton tells AmericanSongwriter.com that people in California see things differently than people in Oklahoma. “I like California but I’m dyed-in-the-wool Oklahoma. I see a deer in L.A., and everybody’s standing around it taking pictures. Back home, that’s the enemy!”

TMSPN says Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift got a new puppy. Travis’s brother, Jason, is quoted by TMSPN as saying the dog destroyed a couch. “He had these couches and they were like green velvet. Like over-the-top couches. I’m not gonna say the dollar amount, but I’m like, ‘Dude, what are these couches?’ Travis justified the purchase by calling it “an investment”. I see the couch is pushed against the wall. I’m like, ‘Why did you move the couch?’ He just got a puppy. The puppy had chewed a hole in the back of it.’’

Will Smith tells the Joblo Movie Network that there’s a “really cool” Hancock 2 idea in the works. He says Zendaya is being approached for a role. “We haven’t even talked about it, so I’m going to give you one little piece. Zendaya [is] being approached for a role in Hancock 2.“
