Tinsel Town Talk – Mon 03/31/2025

If you haven’t seen it, here’s the best thing on the internet right now: A man asks a woman for help because he doesn’t have any shoes. He reveals after she buys him shoes and socks that he was giving her VIP tickets to the Jelly Roll concert…. She even got to meet him.  Then Jelly led her outside blindfolded . . . and surprised her with a NEW CAR.

Morgan Wallen created a stir this weekend when he walked off the “Saturday Night Live” stage in the middle of the closing credits.  Sources say it was an honest mistake, but it looked like he just wanted to get out of there.  To be fair, sources close to Morgan say it was an honest mistake and he meant nothing by it.  Maybe Morgan would just rather be at home in Tennessee than New York City?  Can’t blame him for that.

You’ve seen the meme a million times on Facebook:  “Don’t judge people . . . you have no idea what they’re dealing with in their personal lives.”  Well Viola Davis admits she was judgmental when she saw Chadwick Boseman getting special treatment on the set of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”.  She had no idea he was dying of cancer at the time. This was in 2020 and he passed later that year.

Riley Green tells Southern Living magazine that he got invaluable advice from his grandfather. “I remember my granddaddy Bufford always telling me as a kid to ‘grab the heavy end.’ Be the guy that’ll work a little bit harder than everybody else. I’ve always had that mentality. My dad and his brother valued themselves on how hard they could work and how much they could accomplish in one day.”

Nick Cannon tells People magazine that he is taking a break from having children. “I’m having so much fun in this space right now, and the way my bank account is set up, I’m going to press hold on this 12 for right now. But. I was just speaking of three years from now [or] five years from now, who knows? I’m not against it. There was a point in time where I was just like, ‘Nah, I’m done.’ And, then I was like, ‘Who am I to say that?’ It seemed like it was such an emphatic thing. I never imagined that I would have 12 kids. So, it’s one of those things where I love children. I love my life, and if it could keep going in the direction that it’s going, why not?”

RadarOnline.com says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are allegedly practicing for starting a family by adopting a dog together. A source says, “They didn’t take this on lightly. Getting a new puppy requires a lot of teamwork – and it’s made their bond even stronger. This is just a trial run for them getting ready to start a family of their own. They’re saying this is practice for a baby. They’re still playing coy about an engagement, but they’re beyond happy.”

How’s your bracket going? If it’s ruined like mine, there’s still another way you can get in on the action.  The 2025 March Man-ness bracket. The quest to find country music’s hottest man continues.  The matchups left for the Elite Eight in the 2025 March Man-ness bracket are:  Scotty McCreery vs. Warren Zeiders . . . Jackson Dean vs. Riley Green . . . George Strait vs. Alan Jackson . . . and Tim McGraw vs. Keith Urban. These matchups are stacked!  It could go down to the wire.  Voting closed for the Elite Eight late last night . . . The results for the Final Four will be announced sometime later today.
