Cause Of Gene Hackman’s Death Revealed: WBIR says Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, died from natural causes in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Hackman passed away due to heart disease and Alzheimer’s after Arakawa succumbed to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, spread by infected rodent droppings. The sheriff is waiting on the results of a dog’s autopsy and cell phone data analysis to close the case. The Daily Mail says Betsy may have contracted the hantavirus from cleaning rodent droppings in her outhouse and garage. Gene may not have known she passed away because of his Alzheimer’s.

Luke Bryan Addresses A Rumor About His New Tattoo … Luke reveals that he got his wife’s initials tattooed on his butt.

On Friday, Dolly Parton released a new song, called “If You Hadn’t Been There”, about her late husband, Carl Dean.  Dolly wrote in the caption, “Like all great love stories, they never end.  They live on in memory and song.  He will always be the star of my life story, and I dedicate this song to him.” (You can listen to Dolly’s new song, here.)

CBS has canceled “SWAT”. . . for REALZ this time.  CBS has canceled and un-canceled the show twice before. the third time. SWAT is based on the 1975 ABC series of the same name. Season 8 will be the last.

Carrie Underwood says she didn’t sing country in her first few performances on “American Idol”, because she heard that Simon Cowell was not a fan of country music.  He did encourage her to be herself though. The Robb Report says Jerry Seinfeld has finally sold his iconic  Porsche race car after turning down a $25 million offer. Seinfeld chose Mecum Auctions to oversee the sale due to their marketing approach. The final selling price remains undisclosed but is estimated to be in the $25 million range, making it the most expensive Porsche ever sold. Seinfeld acquired the car in 2001 for an undisclosed sum.  Steve McQueen drove the 917K in the movie ‘’Le Mans’’ 

Craig Morgan stopped by “Fox and Friends” on Friday and did his new song “American Soundtrack”.  He also talked about why he decided to re-enlist in the Army Reserve at age 59 back in 2023. (The U.S. Army added 1,200 more recruiters in late 2023, and numbers have steadily been ticking up ever since.  The numbers this past December were the highest for that month in 15 years.)

Ben Affleck tells Variety magazine that he spent months learning how to line dance for his upcoming movie ‘’The Accountant 2”. “For me, the challenge, of course, was the months and months I spent training to line dance. It was a stunt for me. Tom Cruise has nothing on me. In terms of line dancing.”

Emily Osment and her husband are divorcing after five months of marriage.
