“Anora” was the big winner at the Oscars, with five statues. including Best Picture and Best Actress for Mikey MadisonAdrien Brody won Best Actor for “The Brutalist”, and droned on for more than five minutes… even made them cut the play-off music so he could keep talking, in his acceptance speech. Host Conan O’Brien had a great entrance…he came out of Demi Moore’s back, a la “The Substance”.(You can see all the winners here.)

An examination of Gene Hackman’s pacemaker shows he most likely died on February 17th, nine days before the bodies of him and his wife were discovered.  And tests have determined they did not die of carbon monoxide poisoning.

If you don’t remember, last year at Major League Baseball’s Home Run Derby, Ingrid Andress sang the national anthem.  And, it was a trainwreck…she said she was drunk, checked herself into a facility, and disappeared for a bit. And now, in her first public appearance in seven months, she re-emerged to sing the national anthem again. (You can listen to her second anthem attempt, here.) 

Chris Stapleton tells People magazine that he won’t participate in the Australian tour tradition of a “shoey.” He has no interest in drinking beer out of a boot. “I’ve heard about this. I asked somebody before I went on for the first night, ‘Is there anything that I should be prepared for?’ And then they’re like, ‘Yes, a shoey. They’ll want you to drink beer out of a shoe.’ And I said I will graciously decline to do that.”

PopCulture.com says Elle King recently welcomed her second child, a son named Royal, with partner Daniel Tooker. King is also a mom to a son named Lucky. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram.

Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum both seem to have new boos already.

Pete Davidson is almost finished having his arm tattoos removed, and work has begun on his torso.

The last week or so has been a really bad time for celebrities.  We’ve also lost David Johansen (slash) Buster Poindexter, and singer Angie Stone, who died in a car accident on Saturday.

Blake Shelton kissed Trace Adkins onstage at his new Friends & Heroes tour last week. Trace tried to pull away, but Blake said, “Take it all!” (Here’s video.)

Reba McEntire covered “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa at a show in Florida on Friday.  The general consensus on TikTok is “maybe stick to country music.” (Here’s the video.)

Francis Ford Coppola is thrilled about winning Worst Director at the Razzies.  Other “winners” this year include “Madame Web” for Worst Picture, Jerry Seinfeld for Worst Actor, and Dakota Johnson for Worst Actress. (You can see his post here.)
