Pretty cool news this week that Randy Travis is getting his own movie.  And another big country star is playing him . . . Clay Walker. They announced it this week at the Grand Ole Opry.  It’s called “Forever and Ever, Amen” after his 1987 hit and 2019 memoir. It’ll hit theaters sometime next spring. (In other Randy news:  He added 30 more dates to his More Life Tour this week.  He’ll wrap up the initial run in May and head back out on the road in August.  James Dupré will continue to perform with him at those gigs.)

Jelly Roll always tells it like it is.  Even if it’s at his own expense.  He lost all of this weight, and is gonna lose another 100 pounds, and says he was so fat, that he’s STILL FAT…sitting on his bus at 375 pounds and everyone is proud of him for losing sooooo much weight..and he’s still fat. (You can check out this part of Jelly’s interview, here.) In other Jelly news:  Felicia Beckwith, who’s the mother of Jelly’s 16-year-old daughter, was just arrested in Tennessee.

Morgan Wallen just passed Garth Brooks for the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Garth had a total of 173 weeks with an album at #1 over the course of his long career. And this is all before his next album “I’m the Problem” drops . . . which is sure to vault Morgan into a lead that might never be topped. Does this mean Morgan Wallen is the most successful country artist of all time?

This might come as a shock, but Chappell Roan is just a stage name. She was born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz… but when she was starting out 10 years ago, her grandfather had just passed away from brain cancer.  His name was Dennis Chappell, and his favorite song was “The Strawberry Roan”. The song’s roots came from the poem of the same name by Curley Fletcher.  The song has been recorded by several people, including Marty Robbins. (By the way, Chappell Roan is putting out a new single NEXT Thursday.  It’s her first COUNTRY song, and it’s called “The Giver“.)

Millie Bobby Brown just revealed that her real name is Millie BONNIE Brown.

PEOPLE magazine says Rascal Flatts is releasing a new album featuring collaborations with Kelly Clarkson, the Backstreet Boys, and Jason Aldean, among others.

RadarOnline.com says Meghan Markle is allegedly heartbroken that her Hollywood dream hasn’t come true.  She’s now assembling a star-studded entourage, including Billie Eilish, Adam Levine, and Oprah Winfrey, to boost her status.  An insider reveals, “Meghan’s new entourage is really stirring the pot in Hollywood. It looks like this celebrity supergroup is all about elevating Meghan’s status among California’s elite. Sure, she had her moment in the spotlight with Suits and that royal fairytale, but let’s face it, she’s been on the outskirts of the A-list scene. Now, with her SoCal squad …being dubbed her ‘Avengers’ … she’s got some serious backup to push her dreams into reality, and it won’t be met with the usual pushback.”

Kate Hudson tells Page Six that she may never marry her fiancé Danny Fujikawa because she loves her freedom. “The contractual thing is tough for me. I like my freedom… I like the concept of freedom. I like the idea of “being engaged forever. I just don’t have the, ‘Oh my God, I’m going to get married … and I can’t wait for the party!’ It’s the opposite. I’m like, ‘OK, I have to plan it, and then it’s going to cost so much money,’ and it’s just a lot.”

Ingrid Andress sat down for an interview with “Rolling Stone” and talked about her infamous anthem moment.  She said, “I felt like America’s punching bag. I became a way to unite America . . . It was like, ‘At least we can all agree that this girl botched the anthem.'” The good news is that afterwards Ingrid checked herself into rehab, where she worked on her substance issues.  And she just announced two new shows in Colorado in April.

The Globe says Vanna White’s boyfriend, John Donaldson, is allegedly considering leaving if she doesn’t commit to marriage soon. An insider discloses that John has reached a breaking point with Vanna’s indecision. “John has tried to understand her feelings, but even the most patient of men have their cut-off point. Word is, he’s been telling her to pick up the pace because he doesn’t like being strung along. He was a player if ever there was one. That was a painful, difficult period of her life she’s tried to put behind her. Part of her would like to make things official with John, but it’s what will happen after their wedding that scares her. She thinks marriage will jinx their relationship. As much as she loves John, she isn’t sure she can marry him and would rather he didn’t ask her!”
