So is this a genius hack . . . or the most ridiculous thing you’ve heard? A woman on TikTok asked her boyfriend where the cap to the liquid detergent was, and he said, “Oh I just fill it up and throw it in.” Yes, with all the clothes. He wasn’t goofing around. He was SO CONVINCED that he was reading the back label to find “where it says so on the container.” And he was RIGHT. Some brands of liquid detergent have a small message on the cap that says, “Rinse After Use or Toss in Wash.”
Sargento has just released a new American cheese. It’s called “Natural American Cheese” and it only has five ingredients, while other types have nine or more. They say it’s similar to how Colby-Jack is made. (The ingredients are milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes, and a natural food coloring called annatto.) They claim they spent 10 years working on it to make it taste and MELT like regular American cheese. It hit grocery stores yesterday. “Food & Wine” was quick to point out that “natural cheese” isn’t a term regulated by the FDA. But from what we can tell, five ingredients means it’s “cheese.” Whether it tastes like the fake stuff, we don’t know.

A record-breaking great white shark, named Contender, is currently heading towards Florida just in time for Spring Break. Weighing over 1,600 pounds and almost 14 feet long, Contender is being monitored by the research group OCEARCH. Another great white shark, named Dold, measuring 11 feet long and 761 pounds, is also on the move south. Spring Breakers are advised not to worry, as shark attacks on humans are rare, with only 28 reported in the United States last year and just one being fatal.
A new study by RMIT University reveals that gym clothes should be worn three times before being washed. Experts say fewer washes will increase the longevity of workout clothes as well as reduce water bills. However, climate and skin conditions can affect the amount of bacteria that grows on fabrics. Dr. Carolina Quintero Rodriguez says, “This recommendation stems from legitimate environmental concerns – each laundry cycle consumes significant water and energy. Frequent washing can also degrade fabrics more quickly, contributing to textile waste.”
A first-of-its-kind dog recently sold for a whopping $5.7 million. The breed is a mix between a Caucasian Shepherd and an actual wolf. A former breeder from India ponied up the money for what is being called the rarest dog in the world. The eight month-old pooch already weighs 165 pounds and is 30 inches tall. The dog’s new parent also owns over 150 other breeds. They say, “I spent 50 million rupees on buying this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique dogs and introduce them to India. I spent money on these dogs because they are rare. Besides, I get enough money because people are always curious to see them. They take selfies and pictures. My dog and I get more attention than an actor at a movie screening. We both are crowd-pullers.”
