Heavy rain is expected during tomorrow’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The wind is not expected to be strong enough to impact the balloons. A Macy’s spokesperson confirms that the event will take place rain or shine.

Avery’s Soda, in New Britain, Connecticut, is celebrating Thanksgiving with a Thanksgiving themed cola called  “Turkey Tonic”.  The seasonal cranberry-orange-ginger flavored soda is sold to raise money for the Connecticut Foodshare. Avery’s donates 50 cents from each bottle sold to charity

Santoro’s Pizza has created a “Thanksgiving Pizza”. It has roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce on a no-flop crust. The pizza has been a huge success and is popular with Friendsgiving parties

Domino’s Pizza’s in London have created a unique spa experience. They are offering pizza-themed treatments like cheese facials and pepperoni massages. The temporary spa aims to provide a deliciously relaxing spa experience. 

Americans will throw out $316 million pounds of food on Thanksgiving. 

Veterinarians are out with their list of Thanksgiving foods dogs should not eat.  They advise against sharing turkey, onions, garlic, grapes and raw dough. Carrots and green beans are ok.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds recently pardoned two turkeys named Caitlin and Clark ahead of Thanksgiving. The event took place at the governor’s mansion in Des Moines, Iowa. According to an exterminator, the best place to leave your luggage in a hotel room is in the bathroom.  It’s where BED BUGS are least likely to be.  Just unpack your essentials, then zip it up and leave it in there. 

A shipping container filled with nothing but teddy bears washed up on the shore of a river near Montreal.  Officials think it fell off a cargo ship. 

A poll a while back found most Americans have done it.  And now you can let it flow with no remorse. CNN talked to urologists who said there’s really no reason not to.  Quote, “There’s no downside, and it’s just convenient.” We’ve seen articles that say peeing in the shower isn’t a great idea for women.  The claim is it doesn’t let your pelvic floor muscles relax.  So you end up straining, which can weaken those muscles over time. But a urologist in New York said that’s not really true, or doesn’t have to be.  Just relax and let it happen naturally.  As long as you don’t strain, you’re fine. Peeing in the shower also won’t damage your pipes.  And since showers wash it away so fast, it won’t hurt your skin.  There’s a low risk of an infection if you have a cut on your leg or something.  But that’s it. So if you’re a woman, feel free to let loose in there.  And if you’re a man . . . you were probably doing it already.  So keep doin’ what you’re doin’. 

A trailer for the upcoming “Popeye” horror movie has been released. The film is called “Popeye The Slayer Man” and follows a group of teens sneaking into an abandoned spinach factory. It will be released in early 2025. Producer Jeff Miller says, “We can’t wait for audiences to get a load of this gory and scary version of Popeye.”
