Pizza Hut is bringing back its Heart Shaped Pizza for Valentine’s Day.   The medium-sized, customizable one-topping pizza will be available starting on February 11th for $11.99. 

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is now being locked up in some supermarkets. Some believe the move was made to deter shoplifters while others claim it’s politically motivated because of the company’s political views 

Peeps Cinnamon Churro Marshmallows have been spotted on store shelves. 

The FDA has upgraded their recall of several food products that could cause death. They include a recall of Marketside broccoli sold at Walmart stores after the product was found to be contaminated with listeria. 

Sweethearts Candies added a feature to their website for Valentine’s Day where you scan a candy heart, and it helps you follow through with the message on it.  For example, scanning a “Marry Me” heart sends you to a site that helps you get married online.

The Doomsday clock was set at 89 seconds to midnight, putting it the closest the world has ever been to what scientists deem “global catastrophe.”  

CVS is testing a new system where customers will be able to open locked shelves on their own . . . within the store’s app.  But critics point out that it opens people up to more loyalty engagement and tracking. 

The Johnstown Flood Museum in Pennsylvania temporarily closed . . . due to flooding. 

NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) recently rated various groundhogs’ accuracy in predicting weather on Groundhog Day. A woodchuck named Staten Island Chuck, from New York, topped the rankings with an 85% accuracy rate. He outperformed Punxsutawney Phil who came in 17th place with only a 35% accuracy rate. Groundhog Day is Sunday

Groundhog Day in Milltown, New Jersey has been canceled again because the town was unable to find a groundhog. Residents are disappointed because the Groundhog Day event is a favorite. Organizers are hopeful they can bring back the tradition next year.

Sunday’s Chiefs-Bills game was the most-watched AFC Conference Championship game in history with 57.4 million viewers. The Eagles’ win over the Commanders in the NFC title game garnered 44.2 million viewers, making it the least-watched NFC Championship game since 2019.  Some NFL fans are planning to boycott the Super Bowl because of the alleged biased calls in the Chiefs-Bills game.  The calls have sparked outrage and led to accusations of rigging. #boycottsuperbowl is trending on social media.
