A woodchuck named Staten Island Chuck, from New York, topped the rankings with an 85% accuracy rate. He outperformed Punxsutawney Phil who came in 17th place with only a 35% accuracy rate. Groundhog Day in Milltown, New Jersey has been canceled again because the town was unable to find a groundhog. Residents are disappointed because the Groundhog Day event is a favorite. Organizers are hopeful they can bring back the tradition next year.
Sunday’s Chiefs-Bills game was the most-watched AFC Conference Championship game in history with 57.4 million viewers. The Eagles’ win over the Commanders in the NFC title game garnered 44.2 million viewers, making it the least-watched NFC Championship game since 2019. Some NFL fans are planning to boycott the Super Bowl because of the alleged biased calls in the Chiefs-Bills game. The calls have sparked outrage and led to accusations of rigging. #boycottsuperbowl is trending on social media.
