The New York restaurant that invented the Eggs Benedict is currently offering a premium egg dish for $52 even though there is an egg shortage. Delmonico’s Royal Eggs Benedict is topped with butter-poached lobster, caviar, and black truffles. Delmonico’s managing partner Dennis Turcinovic says, “Eggs are extremely sexy on everything. Our Eggs Benedict was always popular, but ever since egg prices have gone up and they’ve become extinct in the supermarket, they’re even more lusted after.”

Parents are feeding their little ones butter in an attempt to help them sleep through the night. The trend started on TikTok and involves giving babies a small square or spoonful of butter before bedtime. Experts warn that butter may not be effective and could even pose health risks due to its texture.

Cops in Oklahoma released audio after a little kid called 911 and asked for “emergency donuts.”  It turned out he was playing with an old phone that could still make emergency calls.  They posted the audio and asked parents to be careful with old phones.  But yes, they DID end up bringing him donuts.
