Starbucks is dropping 13 drinks from their menu.  It’s part of an ongoing plan to slash their menu by at least 30% over the next few months.

Recent research from McGill University reveals that mushrooms help combat the flu. The study found that a compound in mushrooms, called beta-glucan, protects the lungs during the flu by reducing inflammation. If mushrooms aren’t your favorite, you can also find beta-glucan in wheat, rye, oats, and barley.

A new report on pasta sauce reveals that Iowa is the state that buys the MOST pasta sauce…Wisconsin is #2!!….California likes it the least . . . and the top three types are:  Marinara, followed by Alfredo . . . tomato basil . . . tomato garlic . . . plain tomato sauce . . . pesto . . . tomato and cheese . . . meat sauce . . . vodka sauce . . . and mushroom sauce.

The US Embassy has issued a Spring Break travel advisory for those heading to Mexico. They say Spring Breakers should be cautious because of cartel crime, drug-related incidents, drownings, medical emergencies, and arrests. Over 35,000 Spring Breakers are expected to descend upon Mexico this year. Spring Break starts en masse this coming weekend.

More and more people are backing a transatlantic tunnel that would allow people to travel from London to New York in 54 minutes. The tunnel will cost $19 trillion. It would transport passengers in vacuum tubes and magnetically levitating trains. The trains would reach speeds of 3,000 mph. 

A recent study published in the Sage Journals reveals that women perceive angry men as less intelligent. Researchers studied 148 couples and found that higher levels of anger made men seem less intelligent to their partners. Anger was also linked to more breakups 

Single women are using glitter to expose cheating men. A recent TikTok video of Dalia Grande wearing a black dress and spraying glitter all over her body went viral. She said, “I’m at the age where they could be married (married men HATE glitter)”.

A man wrongly accused of murder just got released from prison in Hawaii after 30 years behind bars.  And he says the one thing he’s found weird so far is . . . “Everybody is looking at their PHONE” all the time. 

The University of Texas recently conducted a smartphone study. Researchers had 467 people, ages 18 to 74, block Internet access on their phones for two weeks.  91% of the study participants say they felt better after their two week break. 71% reported improved mental health. 73% compared the experience to taking antidepressants. Participants engaged in healthier behaviors like spending more time outdoors, socializing, and getting more sleep. 

Morgan Wallen shared a new song called “Superman” on his Instagram.  He said in the caption that it’s the first song he’s put out about his son.
