Costco stores are selling out of eggs each morning within eight  minutes of opening. Many people are arriving 30 minutes early to buy eggs because of the egg shortage.

Authorities are seizing eggs at the border due to the bird flu outbreak and the egg shortage. People are trying to bring eggs into the U.S. from Mexico and other countries. The smuggling attempts are causing a strain on border security.

Are your pets allowed to sleep in your bed? Two out of three dog and cat owners (67%) routinely bed down with their furry friends. Men and women were asked who’s more disturbing to their sleep: pets or partners. Overall 51 percent said it’s their partner who’s the disturbance, while 38 percent felt it’s their pet.

The House of Cakes Bakery, in Northwest Chicago, has started a GoFundMe page to help with the cost of eggs. The bakery buys 90 dozen eggs a week in order to make homemade donuts, pastries, pizza bread, coffee cakes, cookies and cheese sticks. The rising cost of eggs due to the bird flu and a shortage forced the bakery to ask for help.

According to a new study, people who daydream regularly are more likely to remember their dreams, even the ones they have overnight.  On top of that, people who view dreams as meaningful were more likely to remember them.

A study says that longevity isn’t just having “good genes.”  It found that “environmental and lifestyle factors” play a far greater role than genetics in determining the likelihood of dying young.
