Doctors are cautioning against the viral trend of adding protein shakes to Diet Coke. The trend started on TikTok. Doctors say pre-made shakes contain more sugar than protein so mixing them with sugarless Diet Coke is pointless. Diet Coke’s carbonation and sweeteners may cause bloating or discomfort when mixed with extra protein

A slice of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s wedding cake, from 1947, recently sold for $2,800. That’s four times its value. Found under a bed, it was in its original box with a letter from Elizabeth herself. The original, nine-foot-tall, 500-pound cake was laced with alcohol 

Despite the BILLIONS spent on the election, some people were apparently surprised at who was running.  Google searches for “Did Joe Biden drop out?” surged during Election Day. 

TikTok users are getting hemorrhoids because they are scrolling the app while sitting on the toilet. Gastroenterologist Dr. David Schwarzbaum says people should give TikTok a rest while relieving themselves to avoid “TikTok Tush.””I tell my patients that prolonged sitting on the toilet causes blood to pool in your veins, which may cause hemorrhoids to form, so you’re best to not spend time sitting and scrolling.”

IPhone users have been using Apple’s new “Genmoji” feature to create inappropriate emojis. The tool uses artificial intelligence to generate custom emojis based on text prompts. Naughty users have been creating everything from X-rated emojis to weapons and contraband emojis. The feature is currently in beta testing mode, with many predicting that it will be censored before getting a wide release.

Researchers from the Journal of Environmental Psychology found that those who decorate early for Christmas are more open and sociable to neighbors. The study suggests a link between holiday decorations and increased happiness. The research says decorating early actually brings more joy.

Dr. Tania Elliot recently went viral on TikTok after warning about the dangers of touching store receipts. She said, “Most receipts use thermal paper containing bisphenols or BPA, and they are easily absorbed into the bloodstream. These chemicals are toxic, and a study showed that 80% of receipts contain toxic BPA. What do these chemicals do to your body? They’re the famous hormone disruptors, which could impact fertility, hormone balance, and increased risk of certain cancers. Now, I don’t want to be an alarmist here, but just opt for an email receipt.”

A new study shows that having less friends as you get older might actually be a good thing because it keeps you from getting sick.  It’s called social aging.  Basically as you age your immune system gets weaker meaning it’s more beneficial to have a smaller social circle to keep healthy.
