Hurricane Milton has prompted Florida wildlife experts to issue an alligator warning. They say Hurricane Milton’s surge will carry alligators into residential neighborhoods. They are asking people not to interact with the gators and to leave snakes untouched.

Mountain Dew is changing its logo and going back to spelling out the full word, “Mountain.”  They’ve been spelling it “MTN” for the past 15 years.  The new logo looks more like the one they used from 1969 through 2005. 

Brazil nuts aren’t very popular . . . but they have just been linked to “reduced inflammation and better gut health” in women.

A Canadian speed-eater, named Mike Jack, recently devoured two pounds and seven ounces of Sriracha hot sauce in three minutes. He used a spoon to slurp up the hot sauce. Mike revealed, “I’ve actually never experienced burn-butt before. I’m not looking forward to it.” (AUDIO)

Domino’s announced it’s bringing back its Emergency Pizza program. The deal offers Domino’s customers a free, medium, two-topping pizza for customers to use “whenever they need it most,” the company said in a press release.

Ticket prices for Disneyland have been increased by an average of 6%, with some passes climbing by 20%. The cost of a one-day, single park ticket is now $206. It’s the first time it has surpassed $200 in the park’s history. 

A recent study shows that going to the gym helps generate good ideas. Researchers at Aalto University discovered a link between exercise and increased creative thinking. The study suggests that physical activity sparks new and innovative thoughts. 

Nintendo has announced a new alarm clock, which will allow you to pick music from 35 video game scenes . . . including “Super Mario Odyssey”, “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, “Splatoon 3”, and “Pikmin 4”. It also has a cool, cartoonish Nintendo look . . . but it isn’t JUST a gimmick. It’s an “interactive” clock, which features motion sensor technology that responds to your movements.  So you can snooze your alarm with motion alone . . . or stop it by getting out of bed. It also collects data on how much you move around in your sleep, and you can add an hourly chime themed to your chosen title, like a grandfather clock.  There are also “sleepy sounds” to wind down with soothing music at your bedtime.

Ten Spirit Halloween locations will be switching over to “Spirit Christmas” stores . . . featuring things like décor, stocking stuffers, plus stuff like photo-ops with Santa.  If it’s successful, they’ll expand it in the future. The 10 locations are only in the Northeastern U.S. for now, but it’s a test, which can then expand across the country in future years if it works out.

A guy from Germany says he was on business in Brazil when he decided to join some coworkers for a drink at a bar a few blocks from their hotel. When he tried to lock his laptop in the hotel room safe, he found it wouldn’t stay shut. Not wanting to haul the laptop with him on the streets of Brazil, the guy put his laptop in a pizza box still in his room from an earlier meal. Later that night, he returned to the hotel and learned that his room was one of a few that had been broken into. While electronics and other valuables were stolen from the other rooms, he lost nothing because thieves didn’t think to look in a pizza box.

Michael Jordan recently purchased a Gulfstream G650ER private jet for $70 million. The jet features a custom paint job with his logo and a nod to his jersey numbers and championships. The paint job cost around $500,000.
