Gardening experts recommend using a mix of bleach and water to make your Halloween pumpkin last longer. First, wash your pumpkin with soapy water. Then, spray bleach and water on it to prevent mold and decay.  Bleach breaks down into salt and water, so it is safe for wildlife if the pumpkin is eaten. Vinegar is not recommended because it is not as effective as bleach for disinfecting.

How old is too old for kids to go trick-or-treating?  The most common answer in a new poll was “16 or older.”  43% said somewhere between 13 and 16.

Being “hangry” comes from a combination of not eating soon enough after your stomach tells you to . . . low blood sugar . . . and low serotonin.  All that combined, and your brain can make you act like a toddler that missed their nap. 

A Stoughton, Wisconsin pizzeria recently issued an apology after customers accidentally ate pizzas with THC. Famous Yeti’s customers reported feeling disoriented and intoxicated after consuming the pizzas in question.  Apparently the Pizzas were “unintentionally contaminated” with THC.  They were using an oil from another business, and didn’t realize it contained Delta-9 cannabis. The Pizzeria says, “We want to assure you that all affected products have been destroyed.’’

A pet tortoise, who had been missing for two months, was found just 100 feet from his Oklahoma home. Ferb’s owner found him in a field near his house.   Ferb got a bath upon returning home. His owners say he escaped by crawling under a fence 

Taylor Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, has been cast in ‘’Happy Gilmore 2’’. No release date has been confirmed, but the movie will premiere on Netflix.

Travis Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, is in talks with ESPN about hosting a late-night show featuring athletes and celebrities. The show would initially air on five consecutive Friday nights in January. If successful, the program may continue on the network.
