The Toilet Seat So Important, Harrison Ford Had to Call Jay Leno

Carly Pearce was on Bunnie XO’s podcast and revealed that her real name is Carly Cristyne Slusser.  She thought Carly Slusser was “a horrible name for a country singer.” For a while, it was Carly Cristyne, her middle name, but that didn’t last long. Her mother’s maiden name was Pearce, and her grandparents shaped her love of country music . . . so that’s how it became Carly Pearce. You can listen to the whole podcast here.  Her name change is brought up at the 24:52 mark.

Harrison Ford and Jay Leno aren’t super close.  But they’re close enough that they can help each other out with very specific bathroom issues. Harrison has a toilet in his Wyoming house that has a discolored and “unattractive” seat.  The problem is, this particular toilet was discontinued, so he couldn’t find a replacement seat. This crapper must be incredibly important to Mr. Ford, because I’m guessing he could afford to replace the whole damn thing if he wanted to.  Instead, he went hunting for a new seat, even asking friends in the plumbing industry. But then he remembered a visit to Leno’s garage years ago, when he noticed Jay had a 3D printer.  So he called him up, and Jay is printing him a new seat. Harrison says, quote, “He embraced the project in a way that I thought I never could have imagined.  People appeared from the depths, out of the shadows, and they got involved in it.”

If you can’t afford a ticket to a Morgan Wallen show . . . there’s another way to see him . . . kind of. If you go to Nashville and search the streets for police officers, you might run in to Morgan’s doppelganger. Some fan on Broadway spotted a cop who could easily pass as Wallen’s twin.  The resemblance was close enough that videos of “Officer Wallen” immediately went viral. Most of the jokes centered on Morgan’s own checkered past with the Nashville police. Here was one of the best comments: “Morgan went from throwing chairs off buildings to serving and protecting the community.” So, Morgan Wallen is working double time right now:  Packing arenas on his “I’m the Problem” Tour . . . and keeping the peace on the streets of Nashville. (Here’s video proof that Morgan has a twin out there.)
