People” magazine says the rumors are true:  Ella Langley and Tucker Wetmore are dating.  They first sparked rumors back in December when they were seen at a bar in the British Virgin Islands. Ella and her fella were seen leaving the Nashville Songwriter Awards on Tuesday night.  She was awarded Song of the Year for . . .you guessed it, “Choosin’ Texas”. In other Ella news, Miranda Lambert confirmed that she IS the feature on her song “Snakeskin Boots”.  Quote, “We wrote [it] with Ella in mind.  She and I are kindred spirits . . . “To me, this song is kind of Thelma and Louise if they didn’t drive off the cliff.  It’s two badass women getting away with something, and she’s the perfect partner for that.” You can hear the song next Friday, October 2nd, on Miranda’s new album “Crisco”.

Now there are TWO “Home Improvement” kids in trouble with the law.  On Monday, Jonathan Taylor Thomas was arrested during a traffic stop in Malibu. At around 12:30 in the morning, cops approached a car that was blocking traffic because it was stopped at a green light.  They began a DUI investigation, but JTT . . . who was a PASSENGER in the vehicle . . . was uncooperative. Police say he ignored their instructions by getting out of the car and repeatedly approaching them.  When they tried to detain him, he kicked a deputy in the stomach. Thomas was hauled in and booked on suspicion of felony obstruction and public intoxication. Thomas’ TV brother Zachery Ty Bryan has had several run-ins with the law, and is currently behind bars for violating his probation in a domestic violence case.

Taylor Lautner and his wife Taylor Lautner welcomed their first child . . . a baby girl they named Lennon Taylor Lautner.

Did you know Rita Wilson is TATTED?  She has a massive cross on her back.  It’s similar to the one that her son Chet Hanks has. Rita shared a photo of her ink to promote her new song, “Stranger with Age”.  she said, quote, “STRANGER WITH AGE?  Who?  Me?  I’m lovin’ it!  Who else is stranger with age?” (You can hear the song here.)

ABC says Simone Biles claims three masked men stole a Porsche GTS from her Chicago-area home. Biles’s husband, Jonathan Owens, previously played for the Chicago Bears.

Entertainment Now says Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show may end in 2027. ABC says no decision has been made. Kimmel has hosted the program since its 2003 debut and signed a one-year contract extension in December.  A source tells the website, “His contract is not getting extended.” Showbiz411 says two inside sources dispute the report that Jimmy Kimmel will end his show next May. A source tells the website, “This happens every year at this time when Jimmy’s coming back from vacation.”

Tom Cruise tells BuzzFeed UK he would love to make a movie with Taylor Swift. “It would be amazing to work with her on anything. I make movies, you know, let’s go make a movie. I think she’s such a talent in anything she does. She’s absolutely brilliant. She’s a brilliant writer. Brilliant …Her ability, you know, we were talking about … if she ever decided to direct, she could be a director of feature films. I know she does her videos and she does a beautiful job.”

The NY Post says Disney+ is hiking prices again. The ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu standalone plans are being raised from $11.99 to $12.49 per month. Disney+ Premium and Hulu Premium will both increase from $18.99 to $21.49 per month. The company is also raising the price of Hulu + Live TV packages and Disney+/Hulu bundles that include ESPN Select. It is the fourth major price hike from Disney in four years.

Dan + Shay star Shay Mooney says Rascal Flatts’ “These Days” helped shape the kind of country music he wanted to sing. He recalled hearing the song at 16 on a mixtape his sister’s boyfriend had made for her. “I remember being 16 and my sister, her boyfriend had made a mixtape for her at the time. It had that song on it and I heard it for the first time and I was like, man, that is what an awesome song. What a cool story,” Shay said. He added that the song made him think, “this is the kind of the kind of country music that I want to sing.”

Whiskey Riff says Kenny Chesney’s “Silver Sands Marina” is a real place in Gilford, New Hampshire, not the Caribbean. The marina inspired the title track and cover image for Chesney’s 21st studio album, due out tomorrow. He visited the marina and spent a couple of nights there, then filmed a simple video and took photos on site. Chesney called it “a mom and pop operation” and said it reminded him of how he grew up in East Tennessee. 

Big Loud says Lauren Alaina and Cameron’s new favorite hobby as parents is going to bed before 9 p.m. Alaina says they get up early with the baby and are intentional about spending their evenings together. She says they often get in bed, talk, watch TV, and hang out. Their other new hobby is taking their child to the zoo.

Gizmodo says Jessica Biel’s production company is attached to a vampire Western in development at Paramount.  The series is based on Keith Rosson’s novel “Coffin Moon.” Set in Oregon during the Winter of 1975, the story follows a veteran and his adopted niece as they hunt a vampire that is also hunting them.

Realtor.com says HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines have found a buyer for their historic Waco Castle in Texas.  They listed the fully furnished property for $2,699,000 in June 2026. The final sale price has not been disclosed. The couple bought the castle in 2019 after nearly 20 years of dreaming about renovating it. They documented the yearslong project on their 2022 series, “Fixer Upper: The Castle.” Built in 1890, the 6,176-square-foot home has four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and seven fireplaces.

The Wrap says Warner Bros. is releasing the new Gremlins movie October 6th, 2028. Chris Columbus is set to direct. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg is an executive producer. Columbus wrote the original “Gremlins,” which director Joe Dante released in 1984. Columbus once said, “We had one stop-motion scene in the first ‘Gremlins,’ but I don’t think I’d use much CGI in ‘Gremlins 3.’”

Nick Cannon tells Us Weekly that he feels guilty every day about dividing his time among his 12 children. “Yeah, like, I’m in Alabama right now doing a promo run for Wild ‘N Out. I was at a double parent teacher conference for my son and my first-grade daughter, happening at the exact same time. And then I had just came from guitar lessons with my 4-year-old, so it’s like, that was my evening before I went to jump on the plane … I don’t know how I do it. I don’t care if you have one kid or 100 kids. They’re always gonna desire more time. You’re always gonna want to give more time. I feel that guilt daily. … I always want to say yes, but obviously, work and other things always get in the way. [As] long as you have equanimity and a healthy balance, and they know you’re trying.”

Naughty But Nice says American Idol producers are allegedly discussing backup judges because Lionel Richie recently underwent a heart procedure. Richie canceled three concerts following another hospitalization.  His representative says the procedure went well and that he is expected to recover. A source tells the website, “Nobody is firing Lionel today, but his seat is no longer something producers can simply assume is filled. His health has changed the conversation. This is the conversation nobody wants to have, but Idol has to protect Idol. Lionel is beloved, but if there is any question about whether he can handle the schedule, they need someone else ready to sit in that chair.”

Tmspn says a British soccer club has signed Taylor Swift to a contract. Swift shares the same name as the pop star.  Widnes Town FC posted; “TAYLOR SWIFT ? You read that correctly, no typos here…Taylor Swift signs for Widnes Town.” Swift already scored for his new club in a 2-2 draw against New Mills.

TMZ says former San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has married Mary Barth Budenholzer, the ex-wife of his former assistant coach Mike Budenholzer. A marriage license obtained by TMZ shows they married  on September 16th in Bexar County, Texas. Mike worked as Popovich’s assistant with the Spurs from 1996 to 2013. They won five NBA championships together before Mike left to become head coach of the Atlanta Hawks. Mike and Mary divorced in 2016. The Spurs had no comment on the marriage.
