The Academy made a new rule that members are required to watch all nominated films in each category before voting for the Oscars. It’s a bit crazy to think that up until now, members of the Academy were NOT required to watch every Oscar-nominated film before voting. Not sure HOW the members will prove it. They also say that A.I. won’t help or hurt a film’s chance of being nominated. The next Oscars will take place Sunday, March 15th, 2026 with Conan O’Brien returning to host.
Did you know that Robert Pattinson has a secret cameo in the Timothée Chalamet movie “Marty Supreme”? Robert Pattinson and Timothée Chalamet have shared the screen before, in the 2019 historical drama The King. And they’re going to share it again when Pattison joins the cast of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune 3. But they were secret costars in “Marty Supreme”. Director Josh Safdie had Pattinson record audio as the commentator and umpire. Pattinson was just visiting the set, but Safdie didn’t know any British people, and this scene takes place in London…so he tapped Robert.
Being a president can be a thankless job. Just ask Mila Kunis. She’s in charge of her Homeowners Association for her eight-house Beverly Hills neighborhood. She says, quote, “All people do is complain. All I get is complaints all day long. No one ever goes, ‘You know what? Thank you so much’ for anything ever.” Mila says she had to text and ask a friend who lives in her community to reply to her email with a “thank you” to encourage others to acknowledge her emails. She previously shared her HOA role earlier this month. Quote, “I take the complaints. A source says, “They’ve taken stock of what went wrong this past year and realized they can’t coast anymore if they want this thing to last. They admit they really drifted and became disconnected. They’ve committed to spending more time in the same zip code. They’re also being more intentional about work and social commitments so they’re not pulled in opposite directions. Plus, Blake has promised to meet Gwen halfway on things that matter to her, like going to church. He’s also promised to get fit and cut back on crappy food. They’re prioritizing their relationship with date nights and plans for a romantic getaway. It’s a very deliberate reset, which hopefully will get them back on track.”
Female First says Chelsea Handler met her new man at a Las Vegas casino and then invited him on a nine-day trip to Antarctica. She says, “I sit down next to a guy. He’s got a big cowboy hat on and he’s got thousands of dollars of chips. I was like, ‘Hey, I need to borrow a couple thousand dollars, sir.’ I get all these texts from this guy the next day, and he’s like, ‘That was such a vibe. You’re so fun. I want to hang out again.’ He goes, ‘You seem like a great adventure and I’m in the mood for some adventure in my life.’ He wrote back, ‘I’ll see you in Antarctica.’ And he came to Antarctica.”

The respect and admiration is there, and Meg is definitely sweet on Tom and vice versa. It’s a no-brainer. Both of them have had some serious bad luck, romance-wise. Parade Magazine says Lainey Wilson is launching a new line of shoes called Golden West boots. She recently held a launch party in Nashville that was attended by Ella Langley and Shaboozey. Lainey is offering four new boot designs.
Huey Lewis has lost the ability to hear music because of Ménière’s disease. He has a cochlear implant and is mildly dizzy all the time. He’s no longer able to perform, sing, and play but he says the worst part is not being able to enjoy music. But he’s still working on the Huey Lewis and the News Broadway musical, “The Heart of Rock and Roll”. He says the goal is to get it to London, and that it’ll tour America in 2027. He might not be on stage, but his sound is still rockin’ on.
