The Cat in the Hat Is Back — with a New Dr. Seuss Book!
A new Dr. Seuss book is on the way in time for America’s 250th birthday. It’s technically not “new”. A complete manuscript was found in his archives in San Diego, along with a cover sketch and art direction. It’s called “Sing the 50 United States!”, and will teach kids the names of each state with the help of the Cat in the Hat. The CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises says, quote, “Uncovering a new work from Ted is like finding a time capsule of his imagination. ‘Sing the 50 United States!’ celebrates his boundless creativity, genius with words . . . “And enduring ability to inspire young readers everywhere. We’re honored to share this new Dr. Seuss treasure with readers across America during such a meaningful milestone year.” It comes out June 2nd, 2026, and is already available for preorder wherever books are sold. This isn’t Dr. Seuss’ first posthumous release. His most recent was “What Pet Should I Get” back in 2015. (Theodor Seuss Geisel passed away September 24th, 1991.)
Luke Combs just notched another major milestone, earning his 19th #1 song on “Billboard’s” Country Airplay chart with “Back in the Saddle”. This continues one of the most dominant streaks in modern country history. This also marks his 18th #1 as a co-writer. His cover of “Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman is his only #1 he didn’t write himself. “Back in the Saddle”is expected to appear on Luke’s sixth studio album . . . which is due sometime early next year. And if you haven’t seen the video yet, it’s pretty epic.
Keith Urban just wrapped his High and Alive Tour . . . and received a very special birthday present that actually brought him to tears. It was given to him by one of Keith’s openers, Chase Matthew. He presented Keith with a custom guitar titled “The Rise of the Phoenix.” It was a Māori-inspired piece designed by artist Sam Mangakahia, who’s also created guitars for Post Malone and Jelly Roll. Sam described the design’s meaning in a video, and Keith had to wipe away tears. It was a special moment, considering all he’s been through lately. I’m sure Keith has a million guitars, but this one’s pretty special.

Megan Moroney tells People magazine that she hasn;t changed since becoming famous. “As far as my everyday life, I feel like it’s not that different. My best friends are still my best friends, and they are not in the music industry, so they make me feel very normal, and I’m still calling my mom three times a day.”

OK! Magazine says Blake Shelton has been supporting Keith Urban following his split from Nicole Kidman. A source says, “He says Keith’s welcome to come over to his ranch and ride horses, help with the harvest, have jam sessions or whatever he wants. He’s also encouraging Keith to keep busy, write music and not beat himself up too much because it does no good to do that. Blake is the veteran of two failed marriages himself, and he’s learned how to survive a divorce, especially one that plays out in the public eye like Keith’s appears to be doing now.’’
Us Weekly says Keith Urban has officially moved on from Nicole Kidman. A source reveals, “Keith has moved on and has been open with Nicole about where he stands. The two had grown apart quietly over time, and by the end, the decision to separate was more about acceptance than surprise.’’

Tim McGraw tells Whiskey Riff that he almost retired due to his four back surgeries and double knee replacements. “I’ve had four back surgeries and double knee replacements, just in the last couple of years. Things were getting really bad, (and I was) getting depressed over it…And this spring, before I had my final back surgery, things were getting really bad, so I was seriously contemplating and figuring out how to walk away. I didn’t want to, but I didn’t think it was going to get better. But it’s gotten better. So, during that process, I had this idea for this song that sort of dealt with facing age and facing all that stuff that comes along with it.”
Riley Green said his dream duet partner would be George Strait. And then was asked why he hasn’t done a duet with George yet, so he said, “I think the problem is, has HE thought about it? . . . I’ve thought about it a lot. When he starts thinking about it, that’s when it’ll happen.” (You can listen to the funny moment here.)
The Daily Star says Chris Martin allegedly had to seek Gwyneth Paltrow’s permission to date Sophie Turner. Sources reveal, “Gwyneth still has enormous influence in Chris’s life. They may have consciously uncoupled, but she’s the unofficial gatekeeper. You don’t date Chris without Gwyneth knowing — or approving. They vacation together, they text constantly, and she still helps manage parts of his world. She’s protective of him — and she’ll definitely have thoughts about Sophie,” they continued.
Page Six says Anthony Hopkins, aka Hannibal Lecter, recently criticized his estranged daughter, Abigail Hopkins, for ignoring his invitation to mend fences. He posted; “Not a word of response. So I think, ‘OK, fine.’ I wish her well, but I’m not going to waste blood over that. If you want to waste your life being in resentment, fine, go ahead. Life is painful. Sometimes people get hurt. Sometimes we get hurt. But you can’t live like that. You have to say, ‘Get over it.’ And if you can’t get over it, fine, good luck to you.”
The Daily Mail says Meghan Markle recently introduced her first Christmas gift line. She is selling a $64 candle honoring her wedding to Prince Harry, two $64 candles, an $89 brut wine, and a Hot Toddy Mulling Kit. The candle’s description reads, ‘Our signature scent. Modern and elegant. Love at first light. No. 519 is the feeling of warm sunshine and blue skies, surrounded by love and laughter; this signature candle is inspired by the ease and joy of a day that holds Meghan’s most cherished memories—her wedding day, May 19th.’
RadarOnline.com claims Jennifer Aniston is allegedly eager to marry Jim Curtis despite concerns about his finances. A source says, “Jen’s already acting like the wedding is a sure thing. She truly believes Jim is the right man for her and doesn’t see any reason to hold off. She says she’s never felt this content – she just wants to make it official. Some of Jen’s friends were uneasy when they found out about his debts and even labeled him a gold-digger, since she’s often the one footing the bill for their dinners, trips, and day-to-day life. But he’s completely won everyone over. He’s gentle, steady, and down-to-earth – nothing like the Hollywood guys she’s dated before. Jen loves that he’s mature and real.”
Glen Powell tells Female First that he finds fame “exhausting.” “Do you know what’s hit me in the last little bit? I love acting. I love the process of bringing a team of people together and we all come together and make something really cool. I’m not exhausted by that – it’s fun. But the exhausting part, the part that throws me, is when I’m in the real world right now. On a movie set, you have your head down, you’re collaborating with people, it feels very ordinary. But the part that I’m getting used is this other thing [fame] … I’m still figuring it out.”
