This happened last Thursday in Fort Worth, Texas. A mom reportedly lost control of her SUV and flipped it near Interstate 20 and Trail Lake Drive. When police arrived, the vehicle was upside down — and her 1-year-old daughter was pinned underneath.

Officers and firefighters worked quickly to lift the car and perform CPR on the baby, who wasn’t breathing at first. Paramedics rushed both mother and daughter to a local hospital.

According to Fort Worth police, both are now stable and expected to make a full recovery. The department praised the fast actions of officers and first responders who “refused to give up” when they saw the child unresponsive.

Authorities said the child was in a car seat, though it’s not clear how she ended up pinned. The crash remains under investigation.
