For more than a century, the Sherman family of Texas has welcomed generation after generation of sons — but that streak is about to end. The family is now expecting a baby girl for the first time since 1917, breaking a 108-year run of boys in their family tree.

The Shermans are also planning to find out whether they have broken a Guinness World Record.
