This was Taylor Swift’s weekend.  Here are more ways she’s dominating the known universe:  1.  Within 12 hours of its release, “The Life of a Showgirl” had been streamed more than any other album on Spotify this year.  And the song “The Fate of Ophelia” became the most-streamed song in a single day in Spotify HISTORY. “Showgirl” also broke the 2025 single-day streaming record on Apple Music, and over at Amazon, it’s now the most-streamed album EVER in a single day.  The album sold 2.7 million copies on Day One, so it’s gonna be a good week for her.  2.  Taylor also dominated the box office.  Her “Life of a Showgirl” album release “event” raked in $33 million in theaters this weekend.  “The Smashing Machine”, a new movie starring The Rock, only made $6 million.

Dolly Parton had to cancel her upcoming residency in Las Vegas.  But fellow country star Tim McGraw is going to jump in her place. It’s called “Tim McGraw: Live in Vegas” . . . and it will be a special limited engagement at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on December 4th, 6th, 12th, and 13th. It’s right in the middle of National Finals Rodeo week.  So, it’ll be a big week. Dolly is irreplaceable, but that’s a solid substitution. (You can check out tickets here.)

Original “Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner is engaged.  Not to the woman he chose on the show, though, because that didn’t work out. They actually married briefly…for 2 months, but hopefully this one lasts a little longer.

Owen and Luke Wilson are both playing golfers on TV.  Which wouldn’t be weird, except for the fact that they’re doing it on DIFFERENT shows. Luke just joined the cast of Will Ferrell’s upcoming Netflix comedy, where he’ll play a pro golfer who’s beaten Will’s character for a tour championship twice.  That show doesn’t have a title yet.  Meanwhile, Owen is currently starring on the Apple TV comedy “Stick”, where he plays a former pro who mentors a teen prodigy.  It’s been renewed for a second season.

USA TODAY says Walmart surprised Taylor Swift fans who pre-ordered her vinyl album “Life Of A Showgirl” with a free loaf of sourdough bread. The gesture was a playful nod to Swift’s love for sourdough, as revealed in August. Fans lucky enough to order by October 2nd received this unexpected treat.

Morgan Wallen tells People magazine that his friends told him he should become an artist. “I would play around bonfires with my friends, and people were telling me that I was good. They told me I should try performing. That was where it all started.”

Naughty But Nice says Keith Urban is allegedly dating two women. One is the young guitarist Maggie Baugh. Another mystery woman was  seen with him in Nashville. A source says, “Nicole isn’t disputing the rumors, but she’s floored by how blatant it all feels.’’

RadarOnline.com says Nicole Kidman allegedly feels betrayed by friends Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani amid her divorce from Keith Urban. A source says, “Shelton really admires what Keith has built with Nicole – it’s something they talk about a lot, and Keith’s been an incredible sounding board for Blake. Keith has a lot of advice on what it takes to weather storms and keep a marriage going when things are challenging. Nicole feels blindsided not just by Keith but by the silence of the whole group. She can’t understand how no one gave her even a hint, not Blake, not anyone.”

Page Six says Keith Urban paid tribute to Nicole Kidman and their daughters at his first post-split concert. He Jumbotron’d a photo slideshow during his performance.  Urban specifically avoided singing his song “The Fighter,” which is about Kidman. Maggie Baugh, Urban’s guitarist, was absent from the Hershey, Pennsylvania concert after her father addressed rumors of her dating Urban.

Hello! magazine says Keith Urban’s ex-fiancée Laura Sigler allegedly warned Nicole Kidman long ago about Keith’s commitment issues. Laura predicted a short-lived relationship between Keith and Nicole before they got engaged in 2006.  Despite Laura’s warning, Keith and Nicole lasted for 19 years

Naughty But Nice claims Keith Urban allegedly gave his wedding ring to his daughter as a family keepsake. A source says, “It wasn’t about getting back with Nicole. It was about legacy. Keith wanted his child to understand that marriage — and the love that created her — mattered. He didn’t want to toss it in a drawer.”

The Detroit Free Press says a downtown Rochester, Michigan bakery recently made a life-size Taylor Swift cake. Home Bakery placed the cake in their front window.  The cake, created by owner Heather Tocco and her team, celebrates Swift’s new album.  Tocco and her team used one full sheet cake, eight sheets of Rice Krispies, 30 pounds of fondant, and 12 quarts of buttercream to create the masterpiece. Fans can admire the impressive cake until mid-November. It took 75 hours and five cake designers to make the cake 

Taylor Swift tells Heart Radio that contrary to popular belief, she has not given much thought to getting married. “You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person, so I haven’t even thought about that, doing a bachelorette party or whatever. This is the first time I have thought about it. My girlfriends, they’re so fun, but so busy.”

Taylor Swift tells People magazine that Ed Sheeran might sing at her wedding to Travis Kelce. ‘I mean it would be hard to keep him from it I think! That’s the thing he’s like ‘I’m always being asked to sing at weddings’ and you’re like “Ed if there’s a stage you know that you’ll be on it! He knows what people want and he wants to give people what they want. That’s the fun thing about our friendship is we both love performing and we love writing and we love singing. It’s actually not that hard to talk either of us into performing at anything!’

Taylor Swift tells Hits Radio that Travis Kelce is her soulmate. ‘He’s a blast. He’s just the most fun person, life of any party, even when it’s just us. That’s the goal, isn’t it? Find a best friend who you think is hot.’

RadarOnline.com says Reese Witherspoon is allegedly holding off on engagement talks with Oliver Haarman due to lingering fears from past divorces. A source says, “The number one thing you have to know about Reese is that being a mom is way more important to her than whatever is going on in her love life. She still has a young son to look after, and her two older kids are just finding their way into adulthood and are around the house all the time. That’s where a lot of her spare time is going, and Oliver has had to get used to that. Reese isn’t in any kind of hurry to get married again, and her and Oliver’s respective high net worth means getting married would come with a whole host of very un-romantic business considerations.”

Radar Online claims Pamela Anderson once hired a psychic to expel “evil spirits” from Tommy Lee’s body. An insider says, “Pamela asked Joya (psychic) if she could drive the demons out of Tommy, because she wants to be friends with him again. As wild as it sounds, Joya told Pam that she was Tommy’s mother in a past life. And they’ve always had problems and anger between them. Tommy wasn’t a very willing subject at first – he was just going in the hopes of getting back in Pamela’s good graces. Naughty But Nice says Mariah Carey allegedly refuses to hold her own drink. She has an assistant do it to avoid condensation.  A source says, “She won’t touch condensation, not even for a second. Her assistant literally holds the cup and positions the straw at her lips. Mariah won’t risk her hands getting cold or wet. She calls her hands her instruments. Why put them in danger when she can have someone else do it? Mariah Carey doesn’t carry drinks. She carries No. 1 hits. That’s her job.

Radar Online says Tom Holland and Zendaya have allegedly delayed their wedding indefinitely due to safety concerns and busy schedules. A source says, “Tom and Zendaya are under enormous strain from the attention. They had people gathering outside their house, sometimes dozens at a time, and it became impossible to ignore. They’ve been forced to spend around $2,000 a day on private security just to feel safe. That kind of pressure makes it hard to even think about a wedding.’’
