Stephen Colbert wasn’t off TV very long.  Just one day after his final “Late Show” aired, he was back on the airwaves . . . on a Michigan public access show called “Only in Monroe”.  He said, quote, “It’s been an excruciating 23 hours without being on TV, so I am grateful to be able to be here on Monroe Community Media before they also get acquired by Paramount.” Stephen had guests, too:  Jack White, Jeff Daniels, Steve Buscemi, and Eminem. Oh, he also spoke on Facetime with Byron Allen, the guy who took over his timeslot. By the way . . . Stephen’s final “Late Show” drew 6.74 million viewers.  That’s the biggest audience for a weeknight episode during his tenure.  He was averaging 2.4 to 2.7 million viewers during his final season.

The Daily Mail says Tom Hardy was allegedly fired from ‘’MobLand’’ after he enraged co-star Helen Mirren with his on-set behavior.  A source tells the newspaper, “Tom’s character is charming. He’s the calm one but it is quite the opposite when the cameras stop. Dame Helen is a joy, she is a total pro and she has worked with so many people over the years. But she is getting increasingly frustrated with Tom and his attitude. He can be late to filming too and that is annoying for Dame Helen, who is extremely professional and disciplined. His tone is something Dame Helen doesn’t like, along with his lateness. She expects better. She holds people to a high standard. She’s 80. She’s been there and seen it all. The behind-the-scenes crew watch it all and believe that she no longer looks as happy working on scenes with him. It has all become quite personal between them. ‘It feels like Tom is winding her up. There is much chatter that he swaggers around like he’s the king. He is very, very arrogant. It’s a fantastic show and everyone loves working on it. It’s such a shame there is this undertone.”

Kiefer Sutherland just announced he’s cancelling the U.S. leg of his country tour due to low ticket sales. Here’s what he said, “I don’t think it’s fair to the people who have bought tickets, or the venues, to play to half empty houses.  I look forward to touring the United States again at a more suitable time.  I hope you understand.” (Be honest now, did any of you even know Kiefer Sutherland was a musician?)

Tucker Wetmore tells CountryNow.com that growing up with his mother and sisters made him realize he wanted his own family. “Down the road, when I do find that special someone, I want kids someday. I want to build a family and do it right. And so I’d say I’m prepared for when that day comes because I know what to do and what not to do.”

John Morgan tells SongwriterUniverse.com that he nearly walked away from music to settle down in North Carolina. “I’m a homebody…I love being home. I love North Carolina…I love where I grew up. I bought a couple of acres back home. It was while I was taking a break from music. I had quit playing bluegrass. I got kind of burned out on traveling and needed a break. I had big plans to raise Black Angus and have a little farm and settle down and keep music as a hobby.”

Female First says Brad Pitt allegedly has no plans to wed for a third time. The 62-year-old star was married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005 and to Angelina Jolie from 2014 to 2019. He has dated jewelry designer Ines de Ramon since 2022. A source says, “Marriage is not on the cards. Although Pitt and de Ramon are very happy, and he enjoys the peace and support of his easy-going girlfriend, friends say they can’t see him getting married again or having more children. He has a great partner who he appreciates but there is no rush in that direction.”

Radar Online says Sylvester Stallone is allegedly suffering from severe health issues as he now walks with a cane.  A saource says, “People know Sylvester has put his body through absolute hell over the years filming action movies, but seeing him relying so heavily on the cane really shocked some fans. There are genuine fears among those close to him that the years of injuries and surgeries are finally catching up in a very visible way, and that he is now – quite literally – on his last legs. Page Six says Drew Carey recently labeled reality TV star Spencer Pratt as a serial scammer amid his bid to be Mayor of Los Angeles.  Carey posted, “Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ***.  I understand being angry/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass.”
