Switzerland has a series of laws in place to protect animals, but the most peculiar legislation is related to guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are social creatures who need interaction with their species in order to be happy, so the European country made it illegal to own just one and considers it to be animal abuse. Officials in Costa Rica caught a cat trying to smuggle drugs into a prison last week . . . with 236 grams of marijuana and 68 grams of heroin strapped to its back.  Now, they’re trying to find who the cat was working with.

Netflix is saving “Sesame Street”.  After Warner Brothers Discovery ended its partnership with the show, Netflix is picking it up.  Season 56 will kick off later this year.
