A recent University of Oxford study reveals that low-calorie diets may increase the risk of developing depression.  Researchers studied 28,000 people. They found depression symptoms were higher among those on low-calorie diets particularly in men and overweight individuals.

If you’re a parent, you’re probably familiar with the concept of “tummy time” . . . laying babies on their stomachs, while they’re awake, so they can strengthen their neck and shoulder muscles, and improve motor skills. If you’re a TikToker, you may be familiar with the latest trend:  “ADULT tummy time.”  Which is . . . well . . . the same, but for adults. Content creators say you should be on your stomach for 10 or more minutes every day, even if you’re just watching TV, scrolling, or reading. It’s supposed to counteract “tech neck” . . . the effects of the hours you spend hunched over computers, phones, and other devices.

Red light cameras were NOT popular, and now a start-up wants to add solar-powered stop sign cameras to all intersections, which uses A.I. to process traffic infractions in real-time.  Law enforcement can review the video, and send out citations.  Proceeds are split between the company and the city.

The TSA says Costco membership cards cannot be used as a valid form of identification for air travel.  KTVU says Summer travelers are trying to get past airport security with non-governmental cards instead of Real ID cards and licenses.  The TSA says presenting a Costco card at security only leads to delays. Only people with REAL ID compliant IDs, passports, or other acceptable forms of identification will be allowed to board their flights.
