The numbers are in and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has officially overthrown “Avengers: Endgame” for the biggest domestic box office opening EVER. It earned a total of $360 million, which surpassed the initial reporting of $355 million.  “Avengers: Endgame” earned $357 million. “Brand New Day” still sits behind the “Endgame” at the global box office though with $932 million compared to $1.2 billion.

Christina Applegate was hospitalized in late March.  And she just got out . . . FOUR MONTHS LATER. She’s been battling multiple sclerosis since 2021. A few days after she went in, she issued a statement saying, “I’m taking a moment to focus on my health, but I’ll be back with more to say soon enough.” Christina is 54 years old.

Zac Brown Band performed at Fenway Park on Sunday night and surprised everyone in the crowd with a free cruise for two aboard Margaritaville at Sea’s new Beachcomber ship.  That’s more than 37,000 fans. The giveaway is valued at more than $40 million and it’s the largest surprise audience gift in live entertainment history.  Zac has a partnership with the cruise line, and co-designed the live music venue on the Beachcomber. “Spider-Man Brand New Day” Sparks Brawl: NDTV says a fight recently broke out during a screening of “Spider-Man Brand New Day.”  Four friends went to see the film at a theater in  Mumbai. They sat next to a couple who had already seen it. That couple started spoiling the movie by talking about what was going to happen next. This led to an argument and a brawl.  The fight was eventually broken up.

Billboard magazine says Ella Langley is launching her own beer inspired by her Dandelein album. The Dandelion Honey Kolsch is brewed with dandelion honey and floral notes. Shiner Brewery teased the collab on Instagram. The beer will be out on August  13th.

WCVB says fans at Fenway Park recently got a huge surprise. To celebrate its 15th straight sold-out show, Zac Brown Band gave every fan two cruise vouchers. 37,000 concertgoers received two tickets for Margaritaville at Sea’s Beachcomber ship, debuting in January. Brown told the crowd, “Tonight we’re going to do something that even Jimmy Buffett would say is crazy. I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat.”

The Daily Mail says Keith Urban was allegedly heartbroken after learning ex-wife Nicole Kidman has reportedly moved on with private-equity businessman Michael Reinstein.  A source tells the newspaper, “Don’t be surprised if Keith steps out with a ‘revenge romance’ of his own.”

Zach Top tells Bert Kreischer that he feels like sobriety is a fad for some people. “Sobriety is such a fad, trendy thing right now.
