Spain won the World Cup with a 1 to nothing win over Argentina in extra time.  Celebrities on hand included Will Ferrell, David and Victoria Beckham, Kevin Hart, Serena Williams, Matt Damon, Beyoncé and Jay-Z, and Timothée Chalamet with Kylie Jenner. Tom Cruise showed up at the beginning to tell us all how awesome this World Cup was. Post Malone kicked off the show with a performance that included a new track called “Chrome Heartbreaker”.  There was the much-hyped halftime show, featuring Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, BTS, and . . . I kid you not . . . Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem playing “Seven Nation Army”. Some of the other Muppets showed up toward the end, including Kermit, Miss Piggy, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and The Count. “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis also made a surprise appearance to hype Bieber up for his performance. Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s divorce has been finalized.  They’re splitting big things like homes and cars, and Jelly will give Bunnie a confidential one-time lump sum payment. Their agreement also includes a provision to prohibit them from trash-talking the other. Bunnie seems to be doing well, too.  On Friday she posted a tour of her new home.

Darius Rucker is considering retiring in two years.  Quote, “I’ve been really looking at it, and I played 110 shows last year, I mean, what am I doing?” He says he still likes making music, but he enjoys being home. Quote, “I’m looking at maybe doing a tour, one more big Hootie thing.”

Radar Online says Nicole Kidman allegedly rejected Keith Urban’s reunion hopes.  A source says, “Keith absolutely wanted Nicole back. He believed they could work through their problems. Nicole had already moved on. Nicole made it clear the marriage was over.  She wants a healthy co-parenting relationship for the sake of their two teen daughters, but romance is off the table.”

Page Six says Jelly Roll is coping well after his divorce settlement from Bunnie XO.  A  source says, “He’s focused on his tour and his health. He is in a good place. There was never any desire to drag the process out. They both wanted to handle the divorce with respect for one another.”

Garth Brooks added two more dates to his tour stop in Indianapolis.  His new opening night will now be August 20th, and he added a matinee performance on August 23rd. Garth still hasn’t announced any additional cities for his “Blame It All on My Roots” tour.

Megan Moroney tells NBC that the best form of revenge is an arena full of screaming fans. “The best form of revenge? I would say probably having an arena full of people scream, ‘God, I hate how gross you are.'”

Charles Barkley tells the Basketball Network that he’s swapping rap karaoke for country karaoke because he’s too old to be rhyming. “I’m going through a stage of country [music] right now [But] for some reason I’m too old to be listening to rap music because I’m just too old for that, so I’m going through a country music stage right now, like Dan + Shay are probably my favorite group right now, and then Darius Rucker is good and Kane Brown, it’s fun.”

Rolling Stone magazine says Shania Twain played the Horseshoe Tavern on Friday night.   The Toronto dive bar is a 500-seat venue.  Shania tested songs from her forthcoming album ‘’’Little Miss Twain’’.  She shared stories about growing up in Ontario and about her family.

Naughty But Nice says Taylor Swift refuses to live in a different city from Travis Kelce.  Swift plans to stay in Missouri as Kelce begins preparations for the upcoming NFL season. Friends say they will not be one of those celebrity couples who live apart.  They have a simple promise to stay together.   A source says, “They’ve seen too many Hollywood couples drift apart because work kept them in different places. If Travis needs to be somewhere for football, Taylor will make that home too.”

The Star says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s new dog allegedly has a private chef. A source tells the magazine, “The dog eats human-grade food prepared by a special pet chef and travels by private jet with them. No going under the plane like most civilian dogs have to. People joke that the animals have a better lifestyle than most people because they have the best of everything and they are showered with attention.”

TMZ says Tom Brady smacked Logan Paul onstage at Fanatics Fest 2026. A video shows the retired quarterback hitting Paul in the head. Karl-Anthony Towns is standing nearby in the footage. Tom later posted a follow-up video calling Logan a “nerd”.

The Daily Mail says Netflix recently bought Ben Affleck’s AI start-up, InterPositive, for $587 million in cash. Filmmakers can use the AI program to create large fight scenes and adjust lighting. Affleck says, “It’s not about text prompting or generating something from nothing. You’re building a model from your own material.”  Ben and sixteen engineers started the company in 2022

You know the iconic dance scene in “Napoleon Dynamite”?  Jon Heder did it all FREESTYLE.  He was so nervous when it came time to film it, he kicked everyone out of the room. Quote, “It was like shooting my first love scene.  I was like, ‘I want this to be good, and what’s the point of having an audience when it’s all on me?'” “I never memorized anything.  I danced until I was ready to puke, and then I’m like, ‘Give me some water.  You guys, I’m dying here.'”

Epic Stream says Matt Damon recently confirmed he is working on a new Jason Bourne movie. The actor plans to reprise his iconic role. He says he would only commit if the script feels fresh.  “I’m talking to a great director named Ed Berger. We’re trying to nail the story down because I’d love to do it. It’s just that thing where, you know, if we do it, we want it to be like the first three, and it’s tough because it’s not built like a James Bond, where every movie is its own mission, and people can even change the character, you know, the person playing Bond, it’s a linear story, so it makes it more challenging to do a sequel where you’re giving people what they want but also enough new stuff; it’s a tricky one.”

The Daily Mail says George Clooney may sell his Lake Como, Italy villa for $100 million.    The 18th‑century house has hosted Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Emily Blunt.   Clooney bought the villa in 2002 for $10 million.

The Blast says Will Ferrell recently revisited a long-running rumor about his link to the OJ  Simpson trial. He and other comedians performed a sketch for the sequestered jurors, not stand-up. They wore wigs and costumes. Will says, “We were doing our sketch show at the time, which was when the OJ jury was sequestered, and we felt so bad for the group of people that just went from their hotel to the courtroom that we performed right comedy in  the courtroom. Not in the courtroom, but a courtroom.”

Hello magazine says Britney Spears’s son, Jaden, recently defended her being a clone when he posted: “I see this one video [on TikTok] that has like 1.2 million likes and then the caption is like, ‘The biggest theory ever: Is Britney Spears still alive?’ Bro, you can go to her page and see her right now. Are you guys tweaking? Do you find it silly when people spread rumors like clone theory? It makes me really know that a lot of the stuff on media is exaggerated and fake, because people know how gullible others are and use that to their advantage, and anyone who sees that on [social] media, they see it, and if it has a lot of likes, they believe it.”
