Sovereignty’s victory in the Kentucky Derby has been TAINTED . . . because he was WHIPPED TOO MUCH. Kentucky Derby-winning jockey Junior Alvarado has been fined and suspended for whipping his horse too much.  Jockeys are allowed to whip their horses six times per race, but Junior whipped Sovereignty eight times. Junior has been fined $62,000 . . . which is 20% of his $310,000 in Derby winnings . . . and suspended for two racing days. Sovereignty’s owner has already said he won’t compete at the Preakness, meaning he can’t win the Triple Crown.

It’s May 13th, you know what that means?  It’s Morgan Wallen and Darius Rucker’s birthday.  But just to clarify, they’re not twins.  Morgan is celebrating his 32nd birthday.  And Darius is celebrating his 59th.  What a great day to listen to some country music.

NBC Universal unveiled its fall schedule yesterday.  It leans heavily on the NBA . . . which NBC hasn’t had the rights to since 2002.  They’ve even hired Michael Jordan to contribute.  NBC is bringing back “St. Denis Medical”, “Happy’s Place”, “Brilliant Minds”, and “The Hunting Party”. There’s also a new competition series called “On Brand with Jimmy Fallon”, where contestants will work with major companies on marketing campaigns. And of course, they’re bringing back “The Voice” and all their “Chicago” and “Law & Order” shows. NBC also previewed “The Paper“, which is the “Office” spinoff with returning star Oscar Nunez.  It’s coming to Peacock in September. (Check out NBC’s fall schedule here.)

Yahoo Entertainment says during a show in Las Vegas, Brad Paisley paused mid-song to answer a call from his son. The call was about Mother’s Day decorations. Fans loved the sweet moment and applauded Paisley for being a great dad.

I’m guessing this isn’t going to break Megan Thee Stallion’s heart:  Tory Lanez was hospitalized after being stabbed in the prison yard yesterday morning.His Instagram says he was stabbed 14 times, but he’s in “good spirits” despite the pain.  Tory is serving 10 years for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot outside a Hollywood party in the summer of 2020.

The National Enquirer says Miranda Lambert is allegedly urging her husband Brendan McLoughlin to find a job because she’s tired of him lounging around the house. A source reveals, Brendan has appeared in Miranda’s music videos, he’s looked into taking acting classes, and he’s dabbled in working security for her. But really, he doesn’t do much of anything and just being Miranda’s arm candy is wearing thin for her. Miranda thought she needed a new game plan in her life. She didn’t want to be in a relationship with competing careers. She wanted a guy who would be available to be with her all the time, and Brendan fit the bill. Brendan needed time to decompress from being a New Yorker to living in the country on Miranda’s farm in Tennessee, but he’s fully embraced it now. Miranda thought it was cute at first, but she’s on him to find his own path and his own career. She feels his motivation is sorely lacking at this point. If she can’t light a fire under him soon, you fear it’s going to send their marriage spiraling.”

Jason Aldean tells Rolling Stone magazine that his family will always come first in his life. “Family’s always first, no matter what’s going on in my career. If I ever have to tell my family I can’t do something because I’d rather be on tour or playing a show, that’s when I’ll know it’s time to quit.”

NBC says Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson are returning to ‘The Voice’ for the show’s season finale. The upcoming finale will feature performances by the top 5 finalists, current coaches, and Blake and Kelly

The Globe says Katy Perry is allegedly blaming her fall from grace on her ‘’American Idol’’ stint. A friend of the singer insists, “Katy is at the end of her rope. She’s faced a backlash that’s unprecedented for an artist who didn’t do anything criminal. And she’s convinced it all started with American Idol. She pins her downfall on Idol producers who painted her as the show’s villain. Katy thought she was elevating her career as a judge on Idol, but now she says it left her overexposed and made her a punchline. Katy wishes she’d never done the show.”

The Sun says Timothee Chalamet’s sister Pauline allegedly dislikes Kylie Jenner. A source says, “Kylie doesn’t share the same values and morals as he does and that she will leave him when she gets fed up. Pauline thinks that Kylie is with her brother because it looks cool and it’s nice to be in a relationship with one of Hollywood’s most exciting young stars. She thinks she’s with him to keep the spotlight on her. Timothee and Pauline speak much less often than they used to because this relationship is creating a massive gap between them. It is sad and frustrating for both of them. The rift is deep.”
