A woman named Brooke Johnson has spent about 100 days on her skateboard as she travels across America, from California to Virginia, raising awareness for spinal cord injuries in memory of her stepfather.

Coming into the weekend, she was in Kentucky and Tennessee.  Overall, she says the trip will be 3,226 miles.  If she succeeds, she’ll set a new world record.
