  • Favorite food: Pizza…(What a common answer...What is it about Pizza... It is just the best! Sometimes I like throwing everything on it... Sometimes you can't beat a good ol' "Kevin McCallister Special" Cheese Pizza!
  • Favorite game: Not much on games.... I've fluctuated between classic board games... to Trivia Crack....to Chess. I'm not good at being told what to do and lotsa rules.... soooooo, not big on games!
  • Favorite movie: "A Few Good Men".... maybe the perfect movie IMHO.
  • The Beatles or The Stones?:  Beatles. I always say: "Music is subjective"... people like different types of music.... But, with that said, if you said The Stones..... You would be wrong. Ha!
  • Waylon or Willie?: Johnny Cash.
  • Scotch or Bourbon?:  Bud Light
  • Best Season?:  My favorite seasons in order are: Fall, Fall, Autumn and Fall
  • Funniest Person on the Planet?:  Dave Chappelle is one of the most brilliant minds ever
  • Spirit Animal: Sloth or Rhino... can we cross-breed these?
  • Best Concert Memory: A Bon Jovi concert (believe it or not) Our seats were in this row that had half of our row blocked by some wooden platform... every time I wanted to get a beer I had to walk ALLLL the way around... I was peeved the entire night until 3/4 of the way through the show Mr. Jon Bon Jovi stands on this platform right next to us and sings a couple of songs.
  • Hobbies: Biking, Listening to Van Halen, Drinking Bud Light and vacationing on Sanibel Island.
  • Hidden talent: I can drop-kick a piece of gum from my mouth. Hidden....useless talent.
  • Dog or cat: Dogs for their loyalty..... Cats for their attitude!
  • Guilty pleasure: Watching about 20 of the movies I've seen a LOT... over and over again. Example: EVERY TIME I come across "Armageddon" showing ANYWHERE I stop down and watch it. No clue why. But, every....time!
  • If your life had narration, who would be the voice: Gilbert Gottfried.... (Let's make the telling of my life as annoying as possible)
  • Hot Take?:  Robert Downey Junior should've been nominated for an Oscar in "Avengers: End Game".... Fight me!

Phil Tripper Afternoon Drive

From 2:00pm to 7:00pm Phil’s ridin’ shotgun with you on the drive home — road-trip songs, country classics in rotation, and updates you actually care about when the steering wheel’s in your hands.

  • Spirit Animal: Probably Marc Maron
  • Worst Interview: That time I accidentally harassed Lauren Alaina about a flubbed National Anthem performance.  Sorry Lauren!
  • Best Concert Memory: Too many…but kissing a stranger at a Motley Crue concert in 2005 felt appropriate for the vibe.  When in Rome, ya know?

  • Hidden talent: Talking on the radio.  Get it… the talent is still “hidden”
