Salt Lake, Cardinal & Hawaiian Punch

“That Body Of Water Is Big AND Salty…Popular Red Birdy…& Punch Up That Ice Cream!!”

1- Salt Lake- Utah’s Great Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in the Western Hemisphere.  It once covered an area larger than Rhode Island. But today, more than half its water is gone, and about 800 square miles of lake bed sits exposed.

2- Cardinal- The northern cardinal is the most popular state bird.  Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia all have it as their favorite species.  The western meadowlark is the next most popular with six states. (Incidentally in case you forgot the Wisconsin State Bird is the Robin. The Minnesota State Bird is The Loon)

3- Hawaiian Punch- Hawaiian Punch was originally developed in 1934 as an ice cream topping.  It wasn’t sold specifically as a juice until 1946.
