Many Starbucks baristas are fed up with customers bringing hollowed-out pumpkins to their shops as cup replacements. Many TikTok influencers have been showing up with the pumpkins to create videos for clicks and likes. The baristas are being inconvenienced by having to fill up the pumpkins with coffee drinks. One TikToker commented, “Workers should not be humiliated or dragged into some performative **** that they didn’t consent to because you want clicks.”
